1. [Shexian County, Hebei Province] Fifteen Practitioners Arrested Last Year
Between November 2004 and November 2005, 15 Falun Gong practitioners have been arrested in Shexian County. Most of them were sentenced to one to three years of forced labor. Some were sent to Shijiazhuang City, and some were sent to Handan City.

3. [Ge'ermu City, Qinghai Province] Practitioner Ms. Tan Xiaoju Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
In June 2005, agents from the National Security Team of the Ge'ermu City Police Department followed practitioner Ms. Tan Xiaoju and arrested her. She is now being held at the Ge'ermu City Detention Center and was sentenced to one year of forced labor.

4. [Jilin Province] Practitioners Mr. Wu Keli and Mr. Lu Shulin Held at the Jilin Province Prison; They Are in Poor Health
According to some insiders, practitioner Mr. Wu Keli from Yitong City, who was sentenced to five years of imprisonment and is in the No. 7 Ward of Jilin Province Prison, is in poor health. His feet are numb and icy cold and he has difficulty walking. His feet are cold and have no circulation even if they are placed close to a heat source. Prison guards forbid his family members from sending him heavy, warm socks.
Practitioner Mr. Lu Shulin, in his 40's, was sentenced to six years of imprisonment and is held at the No. 7 Ward of Jilin Province Prison. His family found him in deteriorating health when they visited him on December 19, 2005. Mr. Lu hasn't been able to work for a long time. By the end of December, some personnel from the prison informed his family to urgently pay money so they could send him to a hospital. The personnel took the money from the family but didn't allow them to visit Mr. Lu. To date, the authorities have merely told the family that Mr. Lu has high blood pressure and heart disease, but they don't know the severity of the disease.
5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Xiaojie and Niu Minjie Cruelly Tortured at a Shijiazhuang City Northern Suburb Prison
Practitioner Yang Xiaojie from Shijiazhuang City was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment and has been held at the Shijiazhuang City Northern Suburb Prison, also called the No. 4 Prison of Hebei Province. Since November 26, 2005, all the practitioners held there have been staging a hunger strike to protest the persecution. With the efforts of kind-hearted people both inside and outside of China and with demands from his family members, Mr. Yang, who was extremely weak and has a fractured vertebra, was finally released about a week ago.
It's said that Mr. Yang is in very poor physical condition. He is unable to speak and is bedridden. Nevertheless the police are still taking turns monitoring him, putting great pressure on Mr. Yang and his family.
Also, practitioner Niu Minjie from Shijiazhuang City, who was held at the Baoding City Prison, returned home recently. Niu's calves are atrophied and numb. Niu now has to use a wheelchair.
6. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Police Arrest Li Hui and Li Li, a married Couple
At around 8:00 a.m. on December 27, 2005, police arrested the Li Hui and Li Li couple from home. At present, they are held at the No. 1 Division, Fushun City Police Department.

7. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
On November 28, 2005, Wang Henglun and Zhang Zhanyue arrested two practitioners. Wang Henglun is secretary of Wangjiazhuang Village, Wangjing Township and Zhang Zhanyue is director of the Judiciary Bureau, Wangjing Town, Shenzhou City. Zhangalso is a resident of Donghao Village, Wangjing Township. Xu Zhiguang is a resident of Xujia Village, Wangjing Township. One of the arrested practitioners is Ms. Wang Ruihua. They took her to Wangjing Township Police Station. At the same time, practitioners Zhao Zhanzhong and Zhang Chunjie from Gaozhaoquan Village, Taiguzhuang Township, Shenzhou City were also arrested.
Ms. Wang managed to escape the next day with the power of righteous thoughts. Zhang Chunjie and Zhao Zhanzhong were sent to Shenzhou City Detention Center and are till being held.
8. [Beijing] Mr. Han Guofeng Arrested for Distributing Truth-Clarifying CDs
In early 2005, practitioner Mr. Han Guofeng from Wuqiang County, Hebei Province, around 40 years old, was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying CDs. He is being held at the Chaoyang District Detention Center.

10. [Linyi City. Shandong Province] Chen Weidong from the Fei County 610 Office Put More Than 30 Practitioners into Forced Labor Camps
Since July 20, 1999, Chen Weidong from the Fei County 610 Office has been actively involved in the persecution of Falun Gong. He has sent more than 30 practitioners to forced labor camps. He therefore was promoted rapidly from a Section Chief to Criminal Brigade Chief.
Some of the crimes he has committed during the persecution:
Around October 2004 he sent practitioner Yin Xuhua, who had just been released from a forced labor camp, to another forced labor camp for two years.
In October 2005 he sent practitioner Zhuo Qilin, a college student from Fei County, to a forced labor camp for two years.
On November 22 he arrested practitioner Peng Yunchang for clarifying the truth at work. On November 25 he sent him directly to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City, Shandong Province.
11. [Chongqing] Police Brutally Beat Practitioner Ms. Li Zhonglan
On October 6, 2005, practitioner Ms. Li Zhonglan, who lived in exile for over three years, was arrested with six other practitioners in the Shapingba District of Chongqing City.
Ms. Li Zhonglan was held at the Yiwanshui Detention Center in the Yubei District, Chongqing City. Around December 5 she was transferred to the Beibei Detention Center and held there for five days. Police there tortured her cruelly. According to those who saw her, she was tortured until her face was distorted and some of her front teeth had been knocked out. An inch-long wound on her jaw was sutured and covered with gauze. She only wore very thin clothes and looked terrible.

12. [Nanyang, Henan Province] Six Practitioners Detained
On May 8, 2005, 610 Office personnel arrested practitioner Zeng Zhaoxin from Nanyang City when Zeng applied for a job at the Yalan Company. Zeng is being held at the No.1 Detention Center.
Practitioner Ms. Fan Jinping, in her 50s, was sentenced to three years of imprisonment at the Wolong District Court for shouting, "Falun Dafa is Great" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is Great" when police from the District, headed by Guo Wanru, arrested her. On October 20, 2005, she was sent to the Henan Province No.5 Prison, which is the Xinxiang City Women's Prison.

13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ye Qiaolin Sent to a Forced Labor Camp
Around December 10, 2005, personnel from the Wangjiang Police Station arrested practitioner Ye Qiaolin, a retired officer of the Chengdu College of Textile Manufacturing of Sichuan Province. They put the practitioner into a detention center for distributing truth-clarifying materials near the Wangjiang Park. The practitioner was released 15 days later; however, personnel from the Sanwayao Police Station and the school's Security Department then sent Ye to a forced labor camp. Ye's whereabouts are unknown.
14. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia AR] Practitioner Ms. Fan Huiming Sentenced to One and a Half Years of Forced Labor
Ms. Fan Huiming was an instructor at the Ningxia AR College of Finance and Professional Technology. On October 11, 2005, she was arrested when distributing truth-clarifying materials and then was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. She is currently being held at the Ningxia AR Women's Detention Center.
After July 20, 1999, because Ms. Fan appealed for Falun Gong twice in Beijing, the school authority deprived her of her right to teach. They assigned her to do cleaning and maintenance work. She was denied monetary increases several times. In early 2005 personnel from the Xixia Police Department arrested Ms. Fan for clarifying the truth. They sent her to a brainwashing center. Personnel from the 610 Office threatened and menaced her family and employers. They forced her to read materials slandering Falun Dafa and to sign a guarantee statement.
15. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Yu Guilan Arrested for Clarifying the Truth
Personnel from the Jincheng Police Station at the No.1 Automobile Company Group arrested practitioner Ms. Yu Guilan, who lives at No.49 Street of the Company, when she clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa to students of the Company's No.7 School. Currently, she is being held at the company's Daguang Detention Center.

17. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Teacher Ms. Zong Xiuhua Sentenced to One and a Half Years of Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Zong Xiuhua, a teacher from Anshan City, was arrested because she persuaded a student's parents to quit the Chinese Communist Party. She has been sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor and sent to the Shenyang City Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
18. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Ma Zixiu Arrested for Clarifying the Truth
On December 26, 2005, when practitioner Ms. Ma Zixiu from Datong City was clarifying the truth to an employee at the China Youth Publishing Company in Beijing, agents from the Communist Regime arrested her. She has been detained at the Dongcheng District Detention Center in Beijing ever since.

20. [Huilai County, Shandong Province] Three Falun Gong Practitioners Secretly Sent for Brainwashing and Torture at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp
21. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] 610 Office Police Officers in the Changyi District Arrest the Older Couple Mr. Wang Xiaozeng and His Wife
On the night of December 19, 2005, police officers from the Changye District 610 Office and Chen Xiaodong, the 610 Office police chief, arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaozeng and his wife. Mr. Wang had previously been sentenced to three years of forced labor and was released in 2004.
22. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Zou Shuzhen Arrested
On December 21, 2005, practitioner Ms. Zou Shuzhen from the Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City, was arrested and her home was searched. Police also ransacked her daughter's house although her daughter is not a practitioner.
