(Clearwisdom.net) On June 29, 2005, the 12-year-old daughter of Dafa practitioner Yan Xiaoge from Li County, Hebei Province was waiting for some delicious food to be brought by her mother after she completed the elementary school graduate exam. But her mother didn't arrive. Instead, the police came and banged on the door. The daughter spent a fearful night at home, alone.
On the evening of June 29, Yan Xiaoge was reported to the police by Li Shujuan, a policewoman from the Political Security Section of the Li County Police Department, when Yan Xiaoge clarified the truth to the public in a vegetable market. Without a warrant, the police threw Yan Xiaoge into a police vehicle and took her to the Li County Police Department. At about 6 o'clock that evening, three plainclothes policemen drove to Yan Xiaoge's residence and closely monitored it until daybreak.
Throughout the night, the plainclothes police often banged on the door and shined their flashlights into Yan Xiaoge's house. Her daughter was at home, alone. Upon seeing the strangers outside the door, she was so frightened that she curled up in the corner of the room, trembling. She didn't dare to open the door. Whenever the police banged on the door, the child recoiled with fear. She still didn't know her mother had been arrested. The young girl had to weep silently for one whole night.
At about 9 a.m. on June 30, the police forced open Yan Xiaoge's house and illegally searched it, confiscating her personal property. The police videotaped the surroundings, confiscated some Dafa books and materials and ransacked her computer and MP3s. That same day, the police also transferred Yan Xiaoge to the Gaoyang Detention Center and continued to persecute her.
Li Shujuan, who reported on Dafa practitioner Yan Xiaoge, did her best to persecute many practitioners between 2000 and 2001. She often brutally beat Dafa practitioners and extorted money from their families.
