1.[Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Li Baojie is in Critical Condition at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Baojie from Panjin City, Liaoning Province was transferred from the No.1 Division to the No.2 Division at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She refused to wear the prison uniform and recite the prison regulations. She has been on a hunger strike since her arrest. Currently, Ms. Li is receiving medical treatment at the No.1 Affiliated Hospital of Shengyang Medical University. The oxygen breathing tube could not be inserted, so the doctors decided to make an incision in her larynx.
On April 7, 2005, the forced labor camp authorities requested that Ms. Li's family sign a document and pay for the medicine. The family refused both and told the forced labor camp authorities to take the responsibility. The family also requested that they allow the family to bring Ms. Li back home for her recovery, but the No.1 Division head refused to allow this until after the family finished signing all the documents. Ms. Li told her family not to sign any document unless she agreed.
At present, Ms. Li's life is in peril. She has extreme difficulty breathing.
The forced labor camp has six divisions. More than 100 Falun Gong practitioners are on hunger strikes. The police hold down those practitioners who are on hunger strike and force-feed them.

2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Yumei Arrested
During the night on April 2, 2005, the police ransacked the house of practitioner Ms. Liu Yumei from Fushun City. Her whereabouts are unknown.
After July 20, 1999, Liu Yumei was arrested and tortured for a very long time. As a result, she could not take care of herself, but after her release she has nearly recovered.

On April 9, 2005, 11 policemen arrested practitioner Ms. Cui Yuping from Datong City, Shanxi Province and ransacked her home.

Recently, personnel from Harbin City's Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Xu Shaohai, in his 40s, from Xingshan Township, Shuangcheng City.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Shuxia Disappeared at the Residential Area of the No 2. Affiliated Hospital at Shenyang Medical University
During the afternoon on March 15, 2005, someone reported practitioner Ms. Zhang Shuxia, in her 60s, when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials at the residential area of the No.2 Affiliated Hospital at Shenyang Medical University. She has disappeared and her whereabouts are unknown.

It has been reported that on March 21, 2005, the police arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Hongbing from Jingshan County, Hubei Province.
7. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] The Authorities from the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp and Some Officials in Laixi City Extorted Thousands of Yuan from Practitioner Ms. Sun Yuzhen
Between 2001 and 2004, the authorities extorted money from practitioner Ms. Sun Yuzhen as follows:
Since 2001, they have deducted 50 Yuan per week from her salary promotion, which so far amounts to the over 2,000 Yuan. Her annual bonus of about 1,300 Yuan was cancelled.
In 2001, she was arrested and held in the Wangcun Forced Brainwashing Center in Zibo City, Shandong Province for two months. They extorted over 7,000 Yuan in cash from her family. Laixi City's 610 Office personnel extorted another 600 Yuan. Adding in the traveling expenses the family spent for visiting her, the total loss is nearly 30,000 Yuan. The last three times the family attempted to visit her, they were not allowed to see her.
In 2003, 50 Yuan were again withheld from her salary increase, which amounts to about 700 Yuan, and her 1,600 Yuan annual bonus was cancelled..
In 2003, she was held in Zibo City's Wangcun Forced Labor Camp, Shandong Province. She went on a hunger strike to protest the torture, but was brutally force-fed. Officers in the forced labor camp even required her family to pay for the force-feeding at 50 Yuan per instance.
In 2004, officers of the forced labor camp extorted 4,000 Yuan in cash, including 70 Yuan for each force-feeding instance and some fees for hospitalization.
8. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] The Persecution of Mr. Chen Jinghua and His Wife, Ms. Zhang Lingwen
On September 18, 2004, plainclothes police broke into the home of practitioner Mr. Chen Jinghua, who is from Bazhou City, Hebei Province. They arrested his wife, Ms. Zhang Lingwen. They didn't even give her time to put on her shoes. Then they ransacked the home, confiscated a fax machine, a VCD player and other belongings. At the police precinct, three policemen twisted Ms. Zhang's arm behind her back while another kicked her legs. Then they forced her to stand for five to six hours.
Mr. Chen was officially arrested that same night. We have heard reports that the police stole 1,600 Yuan cash and a cellular phone from Mr. Chen. At 3:00 a.m. the next morning the couple was sent to a detention center. Mr. Chen was sentenced to eight years in prison. On September 19, 2004, he was sent to the detention center and on October 20 he was transferred to the Tangshan Prison.
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Arrested in Early March
In early March 2005, the police arrested practitioner Ms. Sun, who is in her 40s, from Shuangyang, Changchun City. At present, Ms. Sun is being held at the Shuangyang Detention Center. To avoid being captured and tortured, she left her home and had to lead a homeless life in Changchun City. She was carrying a large amount of truth-clarifying materials when she was arrested.
10. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yu Xiliu Arrested
Mr. Yu Xiliu is from Xiamengjia Village, Xiadingjia Town, Longkou City. At about 1:00 p.m. on March 17, 2005, when Mr. Yu was working in a barber shop, an officer from the Xiadingjia Town Police Precinct led about five people from the Longkou City Police Department and from the 610 Office and forced Mr. Yu to go back home. Once they were there, they ransacked his home. Policeman Wang Qi, an officer from the Town Police Precinct, and the head of the 610 Office confiscated several Falun Dafa books, an exercise tape, truth-clarifying materials and other possessions. They then took Mr. Yu to the Zhangjiagou Detention Center by force. Three days later his elder brother, Mr. Yu Xipeng, went to the 610 Office attempting to bring his brother some clothes and asked permission to visit him, but the police refused his request.
On March 20, his two brothers and the village Party secretary went to the 610 Office to ask for his release, but the 610 Office personnel refused and claimed they would detain Mr. Yu Xiliu for a month.
On March 27, his fourth brother Mr. Yu Xiban and Meng Xiangyong, the village head, requested the 610 Office again to release Mr. Yu Xiliu, but they were refused again.
On the morning of March 29, policeman Wang Qi and an officer from the Xiadingjia Police Precinct went to Mr. Yu Xiliu's barber shop and took pictures of everything. They intended to find some evidence. According to Mr. Yu Xiliu's brother, Mr. Yu is suffering torture in the detention center. He went on a hunger strike to protest the torture, but the police force-fed him.
11. [Huai'an County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Zengmin Arrested and Tortured
Mr. Zhang Zengmin from Zhongsuobao Village, Huai'ancheng Town, Hebei Province was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying flyers when he was working in Beijing. He suffered brutal torture. He has recently been sent to Zhangjiakou City's Shalingzi Forced Brainwashing Center for further torture.

Practitioner Sun Qian from Dehui City, Jilin Province has been tortured for over two months in the Tight Administration Team in Jilin Province's Second Prison and no family visit is allowed.
13. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Lu Jinyu Secretly Sentenced to Nine Years in Prison
In August of 2002, Mr. Lu Jinyu from Benxi City, Liaoning Province was arrested when distributing truth-clarifying materials. He was held and deprived of sleep for seven days in a small white building in the city. He was often hung up and beaten, and was covered with bruises. Later, he was secretly sentenced to nine years in prison. Currently he is being held at Dalian City's Wafangdian Prison.
14. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Funing County Police Arrest Practitioner Ms. Feng Sumei
On the morning of April 5, 2005, Ru Hongxi, the Political and Security Section chief of the Funing County Police Department, policeman Nie Huimin and several officers from Liushouying Town Police Precinct arrested Ms. Feng Sumei, who was doing business at the Liushouying Fair in Funing County. They brought her to the Liushouying Town Police Precinct and ransacked her home. They also confiscated her Falun Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. At present, Ms. Feng is being held in the Funing County Detention Center.

15. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Current Situation of Ms. Liu Xiufeng from Laishui County; Also that of Ms. Lu Guifen and Ms. Fang Yongzhen
Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiufeng has high blood pressure at 240/120mmHg and her heart is not healthy. Her right kidney has been removed and the left kidney is dysfunctional. She needs to be released on medical parole right away. But the Baoding City and Laishui County 610 Office officials still hold her, as well as Ms. Lu Guifen and Ms. Fang Yongzhen, in the Xiaobailou Forced Brainwashing Center.
16. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Cui Stages a Hunger Strike to Protest the Torture in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp
On March 3, 2005, the police authorities from Weihai City's High Tech Development Zone arrested Ms. Jiang Cui and ransacked her home. On March 5 they sent her to the Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Jiang went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

17. [Jingshan County, Hubei Province] The Jingmen City National Security Team Arrests Mr. Zhang Hongbin
On April 1, 2005, the Jingmen City National Security Team members arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Hongbin from Jingshan County, Hubei Province at his home.
18. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Changyou and His Wife Ms. Wang Guozhen Arrested
Practitioners Mr. Zhang Changyou, 53 years old, and Ms. Wang Guozhen, 55 years old from Baiqi Township, Shulan City, Jilin Province live in Jiangnan Rongguang County in Jilin City. They are trash collectors. On the afternoon of April 7, 2005, three policemen from Shulan City and one from Jilin City broke into their rented house and forcibly arrested them. The policemen beat the couple so brutally that blood splashed everywhere. Then they dragged the couple into a car and took them away. They confiscated all Falun Dafa books and materials and some personal belongings.
19. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Yulan from the Wuqing District Held at a Detention Center
On March 30, 2005, the police arrested practitioner Ms. Zhang Yulan from Xiaowang Village, Chenzui Township, Wuqing District, Tianjin at her home. They got her to open the door by using the ruse that they were checking registered permanent residency permits. They saw a Falun Dafa amulet on a picture frame and asked where it was from. Ms. Zhang said that it was none of their business. Hearing this, the policemen went out to make a call. Soon a police car arrived and the policemen dragged Ms. Zhang into a police car.

20. [Gongan County, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Guolian Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison
In January 2002, Li Jianguo from Jiazhuyuan Township led a group to arrest practitioner Mr. Zhang Guoliang from Gongan County, Hubei Province. They took him to the county detention center because he and several practitioners had hung up truth-clarifying banners reading, "Falun Dafa is Great." After several months of detention, Mr. Zhang was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. He is currently still being detained at the Wuhan City Prison and is suffering brutal torture.
Mr. Zhang's wife and his one and a half year old child had to return to their hometown. There is no one to take care of Mr. Zhang's mother. All of his family members have suffered a lot, both mentally and physically.
21. [Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province] The Persecution of Ms. Sun Xiujuan and Her Husband
On March 23, 2005, Liu Weizhong from the Political and Security Section from the Zhaodong City Police Department sent a subpoena to Ms. Sun Xiujuan's home. The subpoena accused Ms. Sun of "making use of a cult to destroy the implementation of the law."
Ms. Sun's husband has been detained at the Zhaodong City Detention Center since his arrest in November 2004. Ms. Sun went to the police department many times to find out her husband's situation but got no response. Ms. Sun and her six-year-old child lead a difficult life.
22. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] The Wuming County Police Department Arrests Ms. Mu Linfeng
At about 7:00 a.m. on April 7, 2005, eight policemen from the Wuming County Police Department and from the Lijian Police Precinct broke into Ms. Mu Linfeng's home, searched it and arrested her. Mu Linfeng's daughter Ms. Zhang Lin tried to stop them, so they forcibly took her away as well. They threatened Mr. Zhang that they would detain her for 15 days for interfering with them. Ms. Zhang argued with them. Later they had to release her. However, Mu Linfeng was still sent to the Wuming County Detention Center for persecution. Her current situation is unknown.
- A Tight Administration Team is created for the purpose of persecuting steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners, and uses more violent methods to accomplish its goal. The family is generally not allowed to visit so that they will not see evidence of torture.
