(Clearwisdom.net) Zeng Qinghong is a member of Jiang Zemin's clique, which is persecuting Falun Gong. After learning that he would visit South Africa, two Falun Gong practitioners from Taiwan went to South Africa, in hopes of helping the South African government and populace become aware of Zeng Qinghong's crimes and bring him to justice. Nine Falun Gong practitioners from Taiwan, Sweden, and South Africa went to protest peacefully at the hotel where Zeng Qinghong stayed. Some reporters came to interview the practitioners.

That same night, Falun Gong practitioners from Australia arrived in Johannesburg. While driving on the highway from the airport to South Africa's capital, they were shot by people from another vehicle that passed them. At least five shots hit the Falun Gong practitioner's van. Driver David Liang's two feet were hit and the van was damaged seriously. The several attackers didn't attempt any robbery and escaped after the attack. All evidence indicates that the attack was directed at them because they are Falun Gong practitioners.

The next day, Falun Gong practitioners unfurled banners outside the hotel where Zeng Qinghong stayed. Several police cars came and the police searched practitioners' bodies and luggage, but did not find anything dangerous. Practitioners informed the police of the facts. As a result, the police came to understand that Falun Gong practitioners are all nice people and they wished practitioners success in going to heavily populated areas to introduce the practice and perform the exercises. The practitioners realized that Zeng Qinghong must have spread rumors to slander Falun Gong, thus making the police wary at first. At 1:00 p.m., Zeng Qinghong's car drove out of the hotel, and Australian practitioners unfurled banners in front of him. At 3:00 p.m., some practitioners parked in an urban area to distribute information and practice the Falun Dafa exercises.

Local newspapers put the news of the shooting on their front page. On the third day, Falun Gong practitioners called a press conference in the hotel to explain the entire incident and the fact that Falun Gong is being persecuted in Mainland China. Several dozen reporters came and raised many questions.

On the fourth day, Falun Gong practitioners visited Taiwan's liaison office in South Africa. The director Zhan Kunai and his assistants met with them. The two practitioners informed them of the facts. Mr. Zhan was very concerned with the Taiwanese citizens' safety. He carefully asked for the details of the shooting, and said that he hoped that practitioners would be careful while in South Africa.

After that, the two practitioners visited Congressman Mr. Lin Qingqin who emigrated from Taiwan to South Africa many years ago. The practitioners said that the persecution of Falun Gong has extended to overseas, and has become even worse. If the persecution is not stopped, it will grow even more heinous. Since the senior officials involved in persecuting Falun Gong were accused in courts overseas, they became so ruffled that they hired thugs to try and murder them. Mr. Lin came to understand the truth and asked them to be careful.

On the fifth day, a torture exhibit was held in Johannesburg's Chinatown. In the early morning, Falun Gong practitioners prepared pictures to reveal the truth. At noon, when there were very few people around. Six young Chinese guys came, destroyed all the pictures, ranted abusively, and beat up one male practitioner. They also threatened the practitioners. The practitioners called the police, and the police department sent several police to protect them. There was a torture demonstration in the afternoon. Many Chinese people were walking by and most of them stopped to watch, even drivers stopped to take a look. Some people raised questions, and the practitioners answered on the spot. Most people said that this was too cruel. Some righteous people said that Jiang Zemin was too evil.

On the sixth day, the practitioners went to another city to hold the torture exhibit. A big crowd surrounded them to watch. They were so shocked to find out that such atrocities were happening in China.

On the way back home, two Taiwan practitioners switched flights in Hong Kong, where they met many people from Mainland China. The practitioners gave out all of the materials they had about the persecution. People accepted them willingly, and read them carefully in their seats.
