Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Shouqi from Dehui City in Jilin Province Dies as a Result of Torture
(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Shouqi, 49 years old, was a Dafa practitioner from Caiyuanzi Town of Dehui City, Jilin Province. Between December 6 and 19, 2000, he went to Beijing twice to peacefully appeal for Dafa. He was arrested in Beijing on December 21, 2000 and was then illegally sent to forced labor, being detained in the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp, Jiutai City, Jilin Province. As he was firm in his belief in Dafa, he suffered from all kinds of torture methods as well as extremely hard, forced labor. His lung function turned abnormal and he vomited blood. On May 14, 2001, he was bailed out and allowed back home. On March 11, 2003, during a mass search and arrest action by Jilin police, he was forcibly taken away from home. As he refused to write the "guarantee statement" to give up practicing Dafa, he was detained for 15 days and again suffered serious bodily harm. After returning home, he passed away on June 19, 2003.
Over Forty Practitioners Arrested in Shuangcheng City, Three Tortured to Death

Forty practitioners from Shuangcheng City, Helongjiang Province were illegally arrested recently. Within a couple of days, three practitioners had been tortured to death. Gu Xiuxian succumbed to her injuries on March 4, 2004, five days after she was sent to No. 2 Detention Center in Shuangcheng City. The names of the other two practitioners who died are unknown.

I work at the Central Office of the National Environmental Protection Department, China Environment Science Institute. I suffered from serious illnesses during the prime of my life. As I graduated from college, I was looking forward to a wonderful life. I never imagined that I would be tormented by serious illnesses for twelve long years.
