1. [Yantai, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioners Du Fang and Fu Yunran Are Arrested, and the Information Materials Site Damaged
Ms. Du Fang is a lecturer in the Chemistry Department at Yantai University. On the afternoon of March 6, 2004, she along with fellow practitioner Fu Yunran was arrested from their homes, and the information materials site was damaged. The police are now keeping surveillance on their houses.
2. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Daoli Law Court Sentence Dafa Practitioners Without Due Process
The Harbin Daoli District Law Court recently imposed heavy sentences on practitioners who were making clarification materials that told the facts of the persecution, without following due process of Chinese law:
Mr. Zhang Ce, 26 years old, sentenced to ten years;
Mr. Fang Lei, 30 years old, ten years;
Mr. Dong Bin, 35 years old, 8 years;
Ms. Si Jie (alias), 40 years old, 8 years;
Mr. Li Guanghou, 51 years old, 5 years;
Ms. Ren Lijie, 47 years old, 5 years;
Ms. Li Yuzhen, more than 50 years old, 3 years;
Ms. Xu Ziao, 17 years old, Tianjin Dafa practitioner, 3 years.
Mr. Zhao Wenkui, 30 years old, 2 years.
The practitioners directly reprimanded their captors in court, refusing to sign any documents.
3. [Beijing] Dafa Practitioners Qin Wei, Zhang Yong, Yan Xiaohua Are Arrested by Police
Beijing Dafa practitioners Qin Wei, Zhang Yong, Yan Xiaohua were recently arrested one after another by the police.
4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Situation of Dafa Practitioners Who Are Sentenced Without Due Process at Zhengding County
1) Mr. Shang Kunfeng, originally Deputy Head of Zhengding County was sentenced to seven years. At present he is detained at the Fourth Prison at Shijiazhuang (prison brigade) Postcode 050000.
2) Mr. Song Jianmin, sentenced to ten years, is presently detained at Baoding City Prison, Hebei Province (machine tool factory) Postcode 071000.
3) Mr. Zhang Ruihe, who originally worked at Zhengding County Public Security Department, was sentenced to five years. Currently he is detained at the Baoding City Prison, Hebei Province (printing factory) Postcode 071000.
4) Ms. Zheng Lanxia, sentenced to four years is detained at the Taixing Prison, Hebei Province (Third Intermediate Brigade) Postcode 072150.
5) Mr. Wei Zhanjun, a worker at the Zhengding television station, was sentenced to five years, and is detained at the Tangshan Region Fengnan City 2002 Post Office Box First Detachment, Thirteen Intermediate Brigade Postcode 063305.
5. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Xu Baowen Has Been on a Hunger Strike for More Than Two Months at the Liaohe Oilfield Detention Center
Mr. Xu Baowen from Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province was forced to leave home to avoid persecution, but was arrested in Panjin City, Liaoning Province. At present he is detained at the Lioahe Oilfield Detention Center. To protest against the persecution, Xu has been on a hunger strike for more than two months. His life is in imminent danger.

6. [Shanghai] Dafa Practitioner Ma Laiyan Arrested Again
Mr. Ma Laiyan was distributing truth clarification materials on February 24, 2004 and was arrested. His whereabouts is unknown.
7. [Heilongjiang Province] Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp Torture Steadfast and Unyielding Dafa Practitioners
On February 20, 2004, the thirty-one Dafa practitioners detained at the Number Eight Brigade of the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp clarified the facts and hung up banners that caused extreme panic in the camp. The police used electric batons, handcuffs and other methods of torture to persecute the practitioners. They were forced to also sit on small wooden benches from five o'clock in the morning till nine o'clock at night every day while watching videos that slander Dafa. They were not allowed to drink, given insufficient food to eat and were allowed to use the toilet only twice a day. The situation is critical.
8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Yurong Is Arrested and Sent to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center
On February 20, 2004, the Harbin City Public Security Department sent four policemen to the Xiangfang Region Bearing Factory and arrested Dafa practitioner Wang Yurong who works at the factory. The police used the police vehicle to send Wang Yurong to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center.

9. [Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioners Are Persecuted by the Police of Benxi City Prison
Dafa practitioners Liu Qingchun and Wang Yaping, originally from Fushunqing are now imprisoned at Muxi City Prison. For the past six months, they have not been allowed to receive visitors and cannot reply to letters from family members. Their situation and condition is therefore unknown.

10. [Linyi, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Gong Fangjun Arrested
Mr. Gong Fangjun, 60 years old, retired worker of the Luguang Chemical Factory, Linyi, Shandong Province, was arrested and sent to the brainwashing center by the Party Committee Secretary of the Luguang Chemical Factory, Wu Xiping, in collaboration with the City "610 Office." Gong Fangjun was coerced to renounce his practice of Falun Dafa. His home was also illegally searched.
11. [Miyi, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioner Yang Shunfa Sentenced to Forced Labor Camp Without Due Process
On February 27, 2004, Yang Shunfa from Miyi, Sichuan Province was sentenced to forced labor camp and was secretly sent to Dongshan Wumaping.
12. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioners Su Guorong and Zhang Huae Arrested
Dafa practitioners Su Guorong and Zhang Huae from Handan City were arrested and taken away from their rented home. It is not known where they are being detained.
13. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Dafa Practitioner Huang Guiquan Is Arrested
Mr. Huang Guiquan, from Panlong Village, Quxi Township, Jieyang Jiedong County, was arrested some time in November 2003 when he was pasting Falun Gong truth clarification flyers up. He was sent to the Jieyang Jiedong Detention Center and has not been released.

14. [Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province] Dafa Practitioners Deng Shaoying and Chen Zhuoyi Are Arrested
On the night of February 20, 2004, Deng Shaoying went out to clarify the facts and was trailed home by Beiqiao Hostel Security personnel, Zhanjiang City and later arrested by four policemen from the Zhongsan Police Station. He was sent to the Zhanjiang Mazhang Second Detention Center. His family has not been allowed to see him.
On February 19, 2004, Chen Zhuoyi was clarifying the facts and distributing truth clarification flyers at the market place of Chikanhai Sigang Village, Zhanjiang City. He was reported and the police from the Haitian Police Station arrested him at Stall 186 without any valid reason. He is at present detained at the Mazhang Second Detention Center, Zhanjiang City, and no members of his family are allowed to see him.

15. [Songci County, Hubei Province] Kindhearted Villagers Distributing Clarification Materials are Arrested and Sent to Forced Labor Camp
Chen Zhen and her older sister are villagers from Zhihe town, Songci County, Hubei Province and do not practice Falun Gong. However, they know the facts about the persecution of Dafa. On February 13, 2004, they went out to distribute materials about the facts of the persecution and were arrested by the local police. Chen Zhen was sentenced to forced labor camp for one year, and is presently detained at the Shayang Forced Labor Camp. Authorities extorted 20,000 yuan from her sister, but she was not released. Later, her relatives, through various avenues, paid an additional three thousand five hundred yuan for her release.

On the morning of March 3, 2004, Zhong Kanglai from the "610 Office" led many people from the Ruiyun Police Station to the home of Ms. Zou Xuemei. In broad daylight, they used various implements to break down the door of her home and abducted her. All the spectators condemned the action by the wicked police.

Dafa practitioner Yang Jingzhi is a staff member of the Beipiao City Number Seven High School, Liaoning Province. On March 5, 2004, he was arrested because a student who believed Jiang Zemin's lies and propaganda and did not know the facts of the persecution reported him to the authorities. Yang's specific situation is unknown.
