Eaglehawk is in the center of Victoria and traditionally it holds a Dahlia Art Festival in late March every year. This festival, just like the beautiful Dahlia flowers blossoming everywhere in Eaglehawk, is popular for its unique features. This year, local church organizations in Eaglehawk invited Falun Gong to join their 33rd Dahlia Art Festival. On March 21, more than 20 Falun Gong practitioners from Melbourne drove hundreds of miles to Eaglehawk to bring a special charm to this traditional festival.

Though the festival had a large variety of items such as chorus performances, group dances and acrobatics, the performance of practitioners was highly praised for its unique style. The program organizer of the art festival Bryne Burk said that, from attire to dancing, the Falun Dafa presentation was very unique and deeply impressed the audience. From lotus flower dancing and fan dancing to the Falun Gong exercise demonstration, practitioners' performance won enthusiastic applause. After practitioners finished their performance, the host of the show introduced Falun Dafa to the audience. He emphasized that all Falun Dafa activities were free of charge; he also reaffirmed the location and time of local Falun Gong practice.
The Falun Dafa booth was also very eye-catching. At the booth, some practitioners introduced visitors to the history of Falun Dafa, the situation of Falun Dafa around the world, and the truth of Jiang regime's brutal persecution. Some practitioners taught the exercises and some others taught children how to fold paper lotus flowers. The good demeanor of practitioners let more and more people learn about the beauty of Falun Dafa.
