One day, fellow practitioner Mr. Zhou talked to me about disturbances within his family. His wife is extremely anxious about his clarifying the truth of the persecution of Falun Dafa and felt it was dangerous to be in contact with fellow practitioners. Occasionally she even set herself against Dafa. This practitioner has done very well in clarifying the truth. Thousands of truth-clarifying brochures and VCDs had been given to people with predestined relationships.
However, his family members still don't understand the truth. Is it true that we have not taken it seriously enough in our minds or have judged everything according to human standards? Master told us in "Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S Fa Conference", Guiding the Voyage,
"On the surface, we're seeking support for Dafa from the world's people. This is the thinking of the worldly human side, manifest in this human place. Yet it's reversed on the other side. Whoever supports Dafa or advocates for Dafa is establishing for himself his being's existence in the future and is laying a foundation for obtaining the Fa in the future."
When reviewing my path of Fa-rectification cultivation over these past years, my family members and friends have given me great help and support. When the policemen kidnapped me, under Master's benevolent care my family was immediately notified and I walked away right under the policemen's noses. This incident happened in April 2001 and touched me very deeply.
About 7 or 8 pm at night, two of my daughters were watching TV in the living room. I was practicing the Falun Dafa exercises in the other room. Dozens of policemen broke into my house and tried to force me to go to the brainwashing session set up by the town government office. The president of the Political and Judiciary Committee Zhao hypocritically said to me, "We don't have beds there, it is cold, you should wear more clothes." At that time, I did not have righteous thoughts about Fa-rectification cultivation and did not know how to resist the old forces' arrangement from my mind. I went into the room, picked up my cotton coat and was going to go with them. My elder daughter saw me and was so anxious, she said in a loud voice, "Mom, I ask you, what are you thinking, are you going with them?" I was shocked and could not answer. She saw that I could not answer her question. She ran to the bedroom door, closed it and spoke to them loudly, "Nobody can take my mom away! My mom did not break any law! How can you arrest her? You leave the criminals alone but go after the good people, what kind of policemen are you?" My younger daughter also scolded them. The policemen were dumbfounded and had no words to say. My elder daughter picked up the phone and made a phone call to her dad, "The policemen and officers from the township government are trying to arrest mom. You have to come home now." My husband came home immediately after the phone call and yelled at them before he entered the room. Zhao threatened my family and said my family members had kept them from doing his official business. My husband, my mother-in-law and my daughters did not listen to them and said that they were wrong to come to our house and arrest me. The police and officers knew this and left hastily.
This helped to enlighten me a lot. After July 20th, the environment has been very treacherous. The evil seemed to be overwhelming, and some practitioners had lots of fears. However, a child's righteous thoughts made the policemen realize their mistakes. Since then, whenever the so-called sensitive days come, nobody from the police station and the political and judiciary committee is willing to come to my house. They say that my family members are too fierce. It is indeed that the evil cannot attack the righteous things.
The purpose for me to write this article is to tell fellow practitioners: during Fa-rectification while Dafa disciples are saving sentient beings, we should not forget about clarifying the truth to family members. They are our family members and more importantly, they are sentient beings that we should save. They play important roles during Fa-rectification. There are many other stories like mine, and I hope that fellow practitioners will benefit from them.
