Falun Dafa Association of Taiwan Holds Press Conference Calling on China to Stop Arbitrary Detention of Taiwanese (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On October 21 at 3pm, Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in the Legislative Building to expose the illegal detention of Taiwanese Lin Xiaokai by the China Shanghai Public Security Bureau. Practitioners pointed out that the case of Lin Xiaokai is not an isolated incident. The Falun Dafa Association made three statements at the press conference.
Death of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jiaying as a Result of Persecution
(Clearwisdom.net) October 21, 2003 report: Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Jiaying, approximately 40 years old, was an employee for the Echeng Cement Factory in Ezhou City, Hubei Province. He was unable to withstand the inhuman persecution and died on January 28, 2003, after suffering psychological pressure and tremendous physical pain from brutal beating and long-term persecution, three days before Chinese New Year of 2003.
Delayed News: Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Zhuang Xincheng Is Tortured to Death for Possessing Falun Gong Books and Materials

Falun Dafa Information Center July 28th news: Falun Gong practitioner Zhuang Xincheng, a resident from Meihekou City, Jilin Province was arrested twice last year. He was tortured for over 48 hours. The first time he was arrested, he successfully escaped from the police station. The second time, in early December 2002, he died while trying to flee. The cause of his death is still under investigation.
