Six Dafa practitioners in Beijing went to a park around 4 a.m. one day and hung up 300 banners. The people who were doing morning exercises in the park said, "Falun Gong is good" when they saw the banners. "So many people were practicing it several years ago. The government just had to ban it. Nowadays justice is nowhere to be found." An elderly woman said, "Falun Gong is being wronged. My neighbor works at the state security bureau; he followed Falun Gong practitioners for several days. One day, when it rained, lightning split a tree, and the tree hit my neighbor. He couldn't move right on spot and is still staying at home."

Truth About the Persecution

A Dafa practitioner from Fushun City, Liaoning Province was illegally sent to the Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp. The vicious guards there cursed and brutally beat the practitioners. They handcuffed Dafa practitioners and poured cold water on them and their bedding quilts. They confined practitioners in solitary confinement, shocked them with electric batons and forbid them to sleep. This practitioner held a hunger strike to protest the persecution and often was force-fed through her nose, which seriously damaged her nasal channel, esophagus and stomach. She began to throw up blood and was on the verge of the death. The vicious guards eventually released her.

In the Hongweixin "Legal School" in Daqing City, the thugs used brutal methods to physically and mentally torture the practitioners. Upon arrival, the kidnapped practitioners were immediately sent into solitary confinement for forced brainwashing. The thugs forcibly instill lies into the practitioners' minds and force them to watch slandering videotapes. They also force the practitioners to write "The Five Statements" [in which the practitioner announces relinquishment of Dafa practice]. If the practitioners still refuse to give up their belief in Dafa, they are brutally beaten, forced to stand for a long time and forbidden to sleep.

The lawless police officers at Guangshui City Police Department, Hubei Province, persecute Dafa practitioners by detention, forced labor, jail and got them fired from their work units. They also extort money from the practitioners in every way they can. After being arrested, the practitioners' valuable belongings and cash are stolen, and they are fined 10,000 Yuan every time they go to Beijing to appeal. All detained practitioners must pay fines that range from several thousand Yuan to 10,000 Yuan. Some practitioners were forced to borrow money and became destitute.

Vicious police officer Zhang Mingzhu at Daqing City Labor Camp is known for brutally beating Dafa practitioners. Dafa practitioner He Huajiang in Bridage Two died from this brutal beating. Zhang orders evil prisoners to torture Dafa practitioners using various brutal means. They don't allow the practitioners to eat or sleep; they torture them with the "Tiger bench," hang them up with ropes, whip them with leather straps and pour cold water on them in winter.

Fa-rectification Story

The illness that has afflicted me for ten years was eliminated within one month. I won't fear tribulations in helping Master to rectify the Fa. Before obtaining Dafa, I was paralyzed with gallstone, bone proliferation and a brain tumor. After Master cleansed my body, liquid with pus came out of my nose for one month. After fifteen days of doing the exercises, four blood clots came out of my stomach when I was on the practice site. The next day I vomited up five gallstones; on the third day, I vomited liquid with pus from my stomach. In the past decade, I spent several thousand Yuan annually just to treat these illnesses. The torture of the illnesses often made me want to commit suicide. After I obtained the Fa, Master saved me. In July 1999, the vicious police began persecuting me, but I persisted in cultivating Falun Dafa.
