Falun Dafa practitioner was
persecuted for no reason in Qinghuangdao City, Hebei Province
At 6 am on August 10th, I took a taxi from Qinghuangdao City to Tianjin for my business. We were stopped and the vehicle was
inspected at a highway checkpoint on the way. The police forcibly searched my carry-on bag and
found two Dafa books. They brought me to the 1st Highway Check Section
for interrogation and impounded my beeper. In the
afternoon they transferred me to the 2nd Section to continue the interrogation and handcuffed me. During the
interrogation I said nothing. To my surprise, a middle-aged policeman beat and verbally
abused me for no reason. They
illegally detained me at the Qinghuangdao's
2nd Detention Center
that night. In the morning of the following day, a
male supervisor and a female custodian named Li Xiaomei interrogated me once again. Seeing
that I did not say anything, they said very fiercely:" We will shock you with an
electric baton if you still say nothing!" and fetched an electric baton. They started
pounding my chest numerous times with their fists, followed by shocking my waist and
buttocks violently. I still did not say anything. In the end they handcuffed my right hand
to the iron grating of the window, I was hanging there with both feet off the ground. I
hung this way for over a half hour before I was brought down. After that, the policeman
threatened me: "If you still say nothing, we'll handcuff both your hands and hang you
up again!" Facing all of this, I had no resentment or hatred and I told the policeman
with a smile: "What you are doing is violating the law. Everybody will
have to pay for what he has done." The policeman was touched by my words and in some
ways softened his tone. He said:" There is no need for all this suffering of your
flesh. Just tell me your name and address and it will be all over." I replied:"
I'm just heading for Tianjin to do my business and violated no law, I did nothing wrong;
why do you treat me like this? Is it just because of my being a Dafa practitioner?"
At this time I was thinking:" Even if you beat me to death, I will not cooperate with
you in helping a tyrant to do evil. I will be most willing to endure and suffer for Dafa
and will not regret risking my life!" The policeman could do nothing about me and
didn't handcuff both my hands but let me return to the detention cell. I was thus
illegally detained for no reason for three days at the Qinghuangdao's
2nd Detention Center. In the house of detention and police station, I saw that the
police there were accustomed to beating and verbally abusing people, their appearances
showing a kind of evil. They were doing evil deeds of savagely oppressing the people under
the coat of the "People's Police".áááá

Sichuan Province]á According to reliable news sources, the Committee of Politics
and Law of Chongqing City have made a plan of severe persecution in the Fall; Falun Gong
was listed as one of the targets of persecution. It is reported that this severe
persecution will last from Sept. 1 until before National Day (October 1). They will
implement the persecution by imposing a curfew and inspecting every night. Suspected key
members of Falun Gong are subject to confiscation, search and detention at any time. They
attempt to achieve the evil goal of "eradicating (Falun Gong)" in this way.
Also according to reliable news sources,
while the expenses of previous "sweeping away porno and crushing kidnappers"
came uniformly from miscellaneous fines with no allot from the government, for this
"severe persecution of the Fall", especially the suppression of Falun Gong, all
expenses will be allocated by the government and the rule is: whatever is required will be
allocated. This is indeed a true picture of "a sinister gang and corrupted Party,
government and bandits are all jackals from the same lair."
[Chongqing]á In
the middle and last ten-days of August, public security personnel illegally checked the
mail at Daping Regional Post Office in Chongqing, intercepted a batch of letters
containing materials that vindicate (Falun Gong). It is reported that relevant officials
are quite startled and have already issued orders to all the residents committees
demanding them to check the letters against the handwriting of all Dafa practitioners in
their respective areas.á
