We witnessed the trial of Deng Weili and Yu Xiaoyan by the Intermediate Court of Suining City on June 23, 2000. These two Falun Gong practitioners were arrested and accused of "impairing law enforcement by means of a 'cult' organization", because they went to Beijing to tell the truth about Falun Gong to the Central Government.
At the start of the trial the two practitioners were escorted into the courtroom. They came in with smiles on their faces, and were greeted with the sound of applause. The long-lasting, enthusiastic applause shocked the court staff.
The warm applause was the greeting to the two fellow practitioners who went to Beijing to validate Dafa in the face of pressure!
The warm applause was the special language that the practitioners present used to share the experience with their two fellow practitioners in the courtroom. With teacher and Fa here, what is there to fear? Advance further and further! Advance further in tribulation!
The applause was so natural and articulate. However, it seemed that some people felt nervous hearing such loud, thunderous applause. Some people did not understand why Falun Gong practitioners applauded. Their faces seemed to be saying there are so many plainclothes police watching you, how dare you applaud like that!
At the moment, I recalled teacher's poem Mighty Virtue: Dafa never leaves the body; Always bear in mind truthfulness, compassion and forbearance; Being a great Virja in the secular world, he can frighten the deities and ghosts.
It was a courtroom, but it was also a cultivation field for many practitioners. Under the power of such a field, some people seemed to have lost their balance. Listening to the plaintiff, his voice was so small and tiny. Aren't you going to destroy Falun Gong? Why dont you speak to the audience loudly? Look at the chief judge, he is so angry and violent. He did not allow the defendants to speak to defend themselves. Why didn't he allow the defendants to speak? Because he fully understood that, the Chinese constitution has an article granting all citizens the right to appeal. If the defendant spoke that out, wouldn't the chief judge be put in the position of knowingly violating the law?
The two fellow practitioners followed teacher's teachings to cultivate their minds towards benevolence and to be good people with high moral standards. You have deprived them of their right to appeal; you have interrogated good people in the same way as criminals; and now you don't allow them to defend themselves. Is it fair? Please answer. Is it good or evil to persecute good people as criminals? To conduct the law in this way is it serving the people or selling your soul to others with ulterior motives?
The audience in the courtroom was quiet without a sound. Nevertheless, the quietness here spoke volumes. You could see each of the quiet speaking faces had already delivered the message: Your accusations so pale and powerless and you don't allow a defense, we will await the verdict.
When the trial was over, without a verdict there came another long wave of applause. The applause represented the will and voices from 300 fellow practitioners in the courtroom. We hope the government rules the country with law and asks for the manifestation of the heavenly justice.
While the applause was not over, another righteous voice of "Falun Dafa is good" burst out of every practitioner's thoracic cavity. The voice spread to every corner of the court, shook the heaven and shocked the earth. This is the power of the great universal law and the thunder of Fa-rectification in human kind.
At last, the trial was finished without sentencing.
Mankind, wake up. The vows of Gods are being fulfilled. No one is able to stop the progress of Fa-rectification. All lives, either good or evil, will have to determine their own position in the process of Fa-rectification. It is well known that "good deeds will be returned with good things, evil deeds will be reattributed with evil things. Not being reattributed right now
doesn't mean in the future, it is not the right time yet. When the right time comes, they are doomed to face retribution". It is not superstition, but rather a heavenly rule ever since the very remote past.
Hope those people with power who violated the law and abused China's Constitution knowingly; and those who deprived the citizen's of their human rights and did something against the heavenly rule, will please think about it for their real future life.
