Our good fellow practitioner 'little Jin', although you have been gone for one year now, your handsome image, affable smile, and the past experiences of our promoting and safeguarding the Fa together during the course of our cultivation are still clear and always pop into my mind. Although you attained Fa later than we did, you have surpassed us in your cultivation; speaking in terms of xinxing (mind-nature) and enlightenment quality, even many veteran practitioners feel that they need to catch up with you.
I still remember that immediately after you attained Fa, you devoted yourself to going to rural districts to promote Falun Dafa with veteran practitioners. In order to have more time to promote Dafa, you asked the leaders of your work unit to change your position from the finance section to the political work section and then you fully devoted yourself to the work for Dafa. Less than three months later, the situation suddenly changed and dark clouds covered everything. Your work unit asked you to turn in your Dafa books; otherwise you would be laid off. With a noble attitude, you calmly submitted a resignation letter to your work unit, saying that you would rather lose your job than turn in the books and that you were determined not to do anything harmful to Dafa or disloyal to Teacher. The leaders were deeply impressed by your determination to cultivate Dafa and finally you kept both the books and your job. It is you who postponed your wedding date in order to have time for promoting and safeguarding Dafa, and thus bore the misunderstanding and reprehension of your relatives. It is you who resolutely supplied fellow practitioners with your fiancée's dormitory room, for group Fa-study and experience sharing, once the environment for studying Fa at the practice site was sabotaged. It is you who realized that we should step forward to validate Dafa when the evil forces led by Jiang Zemin labeled Dafa as an "illegal organization", when many other fellow practitioners could not even step forward in fear of these evil forces. You consequently gave up all you had in this human world, and bid farewell to your pretty and virtuous fiancée as well as to your parents and siblings. On September 23, 1999 you went to Beijing to uphold Dafa; it is you who did work for Dafa upon your arrival in Beijing and called us from there telling us of your resolution to firmly cultivate Dafa, vowing to "not return home until the Fa has been rectified". You encouraged us to put down fame, profit and sentimentality, as well as all the attachments of human life, and to go to Beijing to uphold Dafa. Your voice touched our hearts. Following the phone conversation, those fellow practitioners who had initially stayed in their homes began to step forward for Dafa: one by one, they went to Beijing to validate Dafa.
I still remember that we shed tears for you after you dedicated your life to Dafa on October 13, 1999. We were proud of having such a steadfast fellow practitioner and joyous for your having completed the course of your cultivation towards consummation. Meanwhile, because of your departure, we deeply pondered and realized that you are an outstanding person in Dafa and that your cultivation process has established a lofty monument for you. Fellow practitioners, while practicing the exercises, saw through a window that you came with red clouds, drifted in front of the window, and then ascended and left elegantly. It was as if you were telling them not to grieve for you as you had attained consummation and returned to your wonderful paradise, as well as telling them not to be trapped by sentiments and therefore resolutely step forward, away from humanness. 'Little Jin', although you came and left in haste, only staying in this human world for 35 years, your whole life has been very righteous. Although the process of your assimilating to and cultivating Dafa only lasted for seven months, you have led an immaculate life and radiated pure rays of light: you are certainly a genuine Dafa particle and you have cultivated yourself to be 24K pure gold. You inspire us to "follow Teacher closely, steadfastly cultivating Dafa", and, in our cultivation of clarifying the truth and actively purging the evil, "helping Teacher in this human world" during the Fa-rectification period, to make holistic improvement and strive forward vigorously toward consummation!

Annotation: Jin Zunyi was born in 1964. He graduated from college and, before his death, worked at the Long Distance Transportation Corporation of Jiangxi Province. He attained Dafa in March 1999 and went to Beijing to uphold Dafa on September 23, 1999. He was arrested while upholding Dafa in Beijing on October 13, 1999, and died at age 35 while being escorted back to Nanchang by train.
