It is reported from the National Public Security Bureau that on October 1st and 2nd, 1,421 Falun Gong practitioners... went to Tiananmen Square, causing disturbances illegally... Police confiscated 48 Falun Gong banners, 52 pieces of Falun Gong materials, and 8 Falun Gong T-shirts. On October 1st, 2nd and 3rd, local police found Falun Gong practitioners distributing Falun Gong materials in Jiangbei District, Sha District, Jiangjin, Changshou, and Dazu of our City.

  1. Reinforce the information system, use every possible source of manpower and methods, and collect inside information on the Falun Gong organization. Report vital information in a timely fashion.
  2. Reinforce the control of important personnel of Falun Gong. Pay special attention to the rebound activities by Falun Gong practitioners. Discover any attempt by Falun Gong practitioners to go to Beijing as early as possible. Prevent them strictly. Must stop them in their hometown.
  3. Handle any illegal gatherings locally and rapidly. We should put more personnel on patrol. Catch them on the spot when they print, mail or distribute Falun Gong materials in public. Especially enforce the areas around public squares, parks and shopping centers. Prevent them from distributing flyers and causing trouble. Bring them to the designated sites for investigation according to legal procedure.
  4. Intensify investigation. Dig out the organizers behind the scene. After bringing back those diehard Falun Gong practitioners who went to Beijing, we have to investigate them carefully; handle them strictly according to the law. We should never let any of them go easily. For those who do not qualify for legal punishment, we should report them to the Party Committee and Government. Send them to reeducation camp.
