[North America]: Practitioners in the US and Canada gather in front of the Chinese embassies/consulates to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and ask for the persecution on Falun Gong practitioners to end
The Falun Gong practitioners in the Washington D.C. area have held peaceful appeals in front of the Chinese Embassy for more than one year. On October 1st, they gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy again. They asked the Chinese government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong orchestrated by Jiang Zemin.
More than one hundred practitioners in the Los Angels area held a group practice on a small hill near the Chinese Consulate on October 1st. They wanted to show to the people of the world who Falun Gong practitioners truly are, and expose how Chinese Falun Gong practitioners are being brutally persecuted by Jiang Zemin.
On October 1st, Practitioners in San Francisco, Chicago, and Houston planned to gather again in front of the Chinese Consulates to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to the people of the world and to ask the Chinese government to stop the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
After holding a peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese Consulate on Saturday (September 30th), practitioners in the New York City area gathered in front of the Chinese Mission to UN on Sunday. They held a group practice and asked the Chinese government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
Practitioners in Ottawa, Canada gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate to hold a group practice and to submit a letter of appeal. In addition, they hoped to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to people of the world.
After holding an all-night candlelight vigil on September 30th, Toronto practitioners again gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate on October 1st to hold another peaceful appeal.
Montreal practitioners went to the Chinatown area to pass out open letters asking the Chinese government to end its brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
Practitioners from Vancouver and the northwestern US states gathered in front of the Chinese consulate in Vancouver to hold a group practice and again to solemnly ask the Chinese government to stop its brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

According to media reports, in the morning of October 1st after the flag raising ceremony in Tiananmen Square, the police used brute force to arrest more than a thousand Falun Gong practitioners, who were holding a peaceful appeal for the Dafa. Overseas Falun Gong practitioners are watching closely how the new wave of persecution unfolds.
On October 1st starting at 12pm, practitioners in the greater NY area gathered in front of the Chinese Mission to United Nation (35 St/1st Ave). They once again asked the Chinese government to stop the brutal and illegal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners initiated by Jiang Zemin and his cronies.

[Britain]: Britain practitioners gather in front of the Chinese Embassy to Britain
British practitioner Robert Gibson (in his 60's) has been sitting in front of the Chinese Embassy to Britain for 5 days and nights now. He is asking the Chinese government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioner. In addition, he hopes his efforts can help clarify the truth about Falun Gong to the British people.
News reports of how the police used brute force to arrest a large number of Chinese practitioners in Tiananmen Square just arrived. British practitioners planned to gather in front of the Chinese Embassy as fast as possible. They intended to expose the bloody truth of how Jiang Zemin has brutally persecuted Falun Gong practitioners, and to spread Falun Gong's message of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance." Mr. Gibson and his son (a 25-year-old young man who started practicing Falun Gong only a month ago) are also applying for a permit to hold a parade. If the permit is granted, all the practitioners in Britain will hold a parade in London.

Falun Gong practitioners in northern California were shocked to read news reports of how more than a thousand Falun Gong practitioners were beaten and arrested in Tiananmen Square. After holding a parade in San Francisco on September 30th, practitioners decided to gather again in front of the Chinese consulate in the afternoon of October 1st. They also planned to attend the National Day celebration party hosted by the Chinese consulate to pass out Falun Gong flyers.
Jiang Zemin has been committing countless crimes against Falun Gong practitioners for more than one year now, but still refuses to admit what he has done and continues to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners all over the world are going to continue what they have been doing, to step forward and expose the villainous crimes Jiang has committed while using governmental machinery to persecute ordinary citizens. It is he who is really bringing catastrophes to China and bringing shame to all Chinese people.
Until the day that the persecution ends, we will never stop our peaceful appeals.

All Singapore Practitioners are closely watching the latest persecution on Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese government. At the same time, we send our deepest regard to all practitioners arrested on Tiananmen Square. Under the worst circumstances, they put aside regard to their own personal safety and well-being. They courageously stepped forward to ask the Chinese government stop its brutal persecution on Falun Gong and to clarify the truth of Falun Gong to the Chinese people.

Please let more people see the truth of Falun Gong, and work together to stop Jiang Zemin who is bringing disasters to the country and hurting innocent citizens.
Please stop the brutal persecution of Falun Gong, clear the name of Master Li Hongzhi (the founder of Falun Gong), release all imprisoned practitioners, punish the criminals who have injured practitioners or even beaten practitioners to death, and give all Falun Gong practitioners an open and legal environment to practice Falun Gong.
We will keep in touch with our government constantly, and expose Jiang Zemin's crime over and over again.
