It has been one year and three months since Jiang Zemin, the chief culprit, and his cohorts began viciously suppressing Dafa practitioners. During the past year, the righteous thoughts of most Dafa practitioners have never been shaken; they still persevere in Dafa cultivation. Take our practice site as an example. It was established in the middle of 1997. Early in 1999, two more practice sites of a smaller size were set up nearby. Around 70 practitioners regularly came to our practice site to practice the exercises. Actually, there were over 100 practitioners at our practice site counting those who usually practiced at home. After practicing the exercises together in the morning, we would just go to work. Consequently, most of us didn't even know each other.
After July 22nd, 1999, although we could no longer practice the exercises together, most of the practitioners have refused to give up Dafa. There has not been a single person who opposes Dafa. On the contrary, at present, almost all practitioners at our practice site who have cultivated for more than two years have been to Beijing to validate and safeguard Dafa. According to my rough estimates, of the practitioners at our practice site before July 22nd, 1999, over 90% are still steadfastly cultivating Dafa. Most of the less determined practitioners are those who initially came to learn Dafa for health and fitness.
Based on the fact that the Teacher had not given lectures in person in our area during the years of spreading Dafa, our practice site was actually relatively new. Thus, most practitioners there have cultivated for only two or three years, so it is quite likely that the proportion of practitioners firmly cultivating Dafa in other places is even higher than in ours. Thus, it can be concluded that it is possible that there could be as many as 80~90 million practitioners in Mainland China who still persevere in cultivating Dafa.
Moreover, many practitioners at our practice site have stepped forward to validate Dafa and clarify the truth. We have experienced tests of life or death one after another over the past year and have stepped forward to protect Dafa successfully. This is beyond Jiang Zemin's and his cohorts' imagination. It also shows that the plots of Jiang Zemin have failed. Many Dafa practitioners have determined to steadfastly study the Fa and follow the Teacher.
