The 2004 Western United States Experience Sharing Conference Solemnly Commences, Master Li Arrives to Teach the Fa and Answers Questions

(Clearwisdom.net) On February 28, more than two thousand Falun Gong practitioners from all over the world gathered in L.A.'s Pasadena Convention Center to participate in the 2004 Western United States Experience Sharing Conference. At 2:10 pm, revered Teacher came to the conference site in person and taught the Fa for the disciples. The entire body of practitioners gave a standing ovation to greet Teacher. Teacher taught the Fa for about 30 minutes and then took more than two hours to explain the Fa for the disciples.

As a Human Rights Fighter it is my duty to inform you about the cruel, ugly, and inexcusable treatment which the People's Republic of China ("PRC") exercises against many of its own people, against the Falun Gong, the Uighurs, the Tibetans, and many different religious groups. These people are -- it can fairly be said - terrorized by their own national government.

Mudanjiang City Dafa Practitioner Wang Jiguo Tortured to Death While His Wife is Still Detained

In December 2000, Mudanjiang City Normal University logistic staff member Wang Jiguo was illegally detained at a forced labor camp. He had been tortured so severely that his entire body was swollen. He suffered from blurry vision and severe liver damage. Wang wasn't released until September 2001. In July 2002, Wang was detained at the detention center again, and after that, he was sentenced to 7-year prison term at Mudanjiang City Jianshanzi Prison. Between June and July 2003, Wang was tortured until he was again on the verge of death. Later on he was released, as the authorities were afraid of taking responsibility should he die in jail. In September Wang died at the age of 40, while serving a 7-year prison sentence, as a result of the torture he received for not renouncing his belief in Falun Dafa.
