Marysville is a beautiful city in Snohomish County and part of the Seattle metropolitan area. On April 28 this year, Mayor Jon Nehring issued a proclamation declaring May 13, 2025, Falun Dafa Day in Marysville.

Practitioners at the festival introduced the benefits of Falun Dafa to the public, as well as two City Council candidates, Chris Davis and John Snow. The candidates and their assistants listened as practitioners explained what Falun Dafa is and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes practitioners. The candidates and their staff sympathized with those being persecuted and told practitioners to contact them if there was anything they could do to help.

Snohomish County Council Representative Nate Nehring was happy to see Falun Dafa practitioners at the festival and praised their large group.

Gail, one of the festival organizers, thanked practitioners for their participation and invited them to come again next year.

As the Falun Dafa procession passed the central stage, the host introduced Falun Dafa and said it’s a cultivation practice with five exercises that follows the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and that people in over 100 countries embrace this beneficial practice. The host also mentioned that anyone interested could learn from them for free, and more information could be found at www.falundafa.org.

Many people expressed their appreciation to Falun Dafa practitioners, and some said their group was their favorite. Others said the CCP’s persecution was irrational.
