France: People from All Walks of Life Learn about Falun Dafa at Information Day Events

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Paris held an information day event in Belleville and the central business district, La Défense, on June 24 and 27, 2025, respectively. During the events, practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and introduced the practice to people. They also raised awareness about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa and practitioners and collected signatures on an international petition that calls for an end to forced organ harvesting, hoping that the persecution ends as soon as possible.

Practitioners held an information day event in Belleville on June 24, 2025, attracting people from all walks of life.

“Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Are Brilliant Values”

Belleville, which includes Chinatown, is a multi-ethnic area. Denis Jeanson said he was drawn to the practitioners’ event. He is a photographer and painter. With regards to the forced organ harvesting of Falun Dafa practitioners that is happening in China, he said, “This is a scandal.” He thinks that there are also other issues in China. “In China, they (the government) said nothing and allowed this (the persecution) to carry on. That is because they are afraid,” he said.

Jeanson also thinks that practicing Falun Dafa is very important to one’s mind and body, especially the mind. He felt they were all very important, “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are brilliant values. They are the fundamentals, and we all need them.”

The CCP’s persecution of practitioners shocked Anis, a retired salesperson. She said, “This is a matter of the evil harvesting of organs. We have never expected that, never. This is really a serious matter.”

Seeing the practitioners demonstrate the exercises, Anis said that she liked it very much, “This is meditation. We really need all the things that can help our minds relax.”

Aziz is a chef who lives by the side of Mount Shumon Park. He noticed that some people were doing Falun Dafa exercises when he went out in the morning. He really wanted to join them. When he saw the event in Belleville, he asked when Falun Dafa practitioners did the exercises at Mount Shumon Park because he wanted to join them. “I feel this is great, no doubt about it.” Before leaving, he told practitioners he hopes everything goes smoothly and they keep up their efforts.

Monk Feels the Strong Energy of Falun Dafa

Wilfred is a monk at Mont Saint Michel. He passed by the Falun Dafa event at Belleville and said he immediately felt the energy at the event site.

He introduced himself, saying that he lives at Mont Saint Michel. When he paused at the practitioners’ event, he said the energy surprised him. He wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa.

The practitioners introduced the practice to him and also told him about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa.

The Information Day Event at the Financial Center

An information day event was held at La Défense, the financial center of Paris on Friday, June 27, 2025.

Falun Dafa practitioners held another information day event at La Défense, the financial center of Paris on Friday, June 27, 2025. La Défense is the primary central business district in the Paris metropolitan area of France, and has the largest number of skyscrapers in the Paris metropolitan area.

Florian is a fencing coach and also an osteopathic medical student. He plans to be an osteopath after he graduates. After watching the Falun Dafa practitioners’ exercise demonstration, he discovered many benefits of cultivating in Falun Dafa as a medical student.

Florian also feels Falun Dafa is very meaningful. He thinks that people today really need these things as it can help them calm down. When people calm down, they will be able to connect with their own bodies. This is because there are many matters, and everyone is busy. Even when one is exercising, they may still be busy. Because of this, we sometimes forget to feel our bodies.

Florian said he felt practitioners’ sincerity and kindness when he talked to them. He said, “Especially in such an event, these are all very important. I think it is really very important to be able to let people come and try and discover themselves through this process.”

Benoit André and Dylan Lam are high school students. After learning about Falun Dafa, they said they could not understand why the CCP persecuted it. Benoit said, “If this can help people become better people, why do they ban it?” “People just want to become better people, but they are being persecuted due to the government’s fear. This is too frightening.”

Dylan said, “These are things people do not know. We should open our eyes. There needs to be more media coverage. In actual fact, we really need to talk about this problem that is worth people’s attention. However, as China is trading with the whole world, everyone chooses to turn a blind eye to it. This is wrong.”
