Finland: People Support Falun Dafa Practitioners’ Efforts to Counter the CCP’s Persecution

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held an event in Rovaniemi, Finland, on July 12, 2025, to protest the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 26-year-long persecution of practitioners in China. They called on the international community to pay attention to the situation and to support efforts to counter the persecution.

Many people expressed their support for justice and freedom of belief and took the initiative to sign a petition to support practitioners’ efforts in countering the persecution.

On this sunny day in this northern city in Finland, practitioners set up exhibition boards to show the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and raise awareness of the CCP’s persecution of practitioners in China. They told people about the CCP’s heinous human rights atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners for profit.

Many local Finns and tourists from all over the world stopped to read the display boards carefully and listened to practitioners explaining the situation. Many tourists signed the petition and said that they had heard about Falun Dafa, but didn’t know all the details, and they then truly understood what was happening. People said that the persecution is a serious violation of human rights and that they could not remain silent.

The event organizer said that they hoped to raise awareness of the persecution to more people by holding such an event and hoped people around the globe would work together to stop this persecution that is still going on in China.
