(Minghui.org) During the first few years of the persecution, a forced labor camp was located in our area, where a large number of practitioners were illegally detained. This labor camp was notorious for committing many evil deeds, and an untold number of practitioners were left disabled or persecuted to death there.

I once took a long-distance bus to distribute truth-clarification materials in the county town it was listed in. I then discovered that the labor camp was not located in town, but somewhere in the countryside. I distributed the leaflets I brought with me and still had a small amount left.

I ate at a food vender near the bus station at noon. Some of the patrons were taxi drivers. While they chatted, someone mentioned that many women were recently sent to the labor camp. I asked how to get to the labor camp. One of them said there were several divisions in the labor camp and not all of them were in the same place. He asked which one I wanted to go to, and I said, “I’ll go to the division you just mentioned.” He then offered to give me a ride in his car and show me where to go. That was more than a mere coincidence, and must have been Master’s arrangement.

The labor camp was located next to a river bank, and was surrounded by high walls. It was very desolate and far from the main road. I got out of the car and walked about a third of a mile along a dirt road to get closer. This labor camp was next to a swampy river bank with many large willow trees. There was a shabby little asphalt road winding along the river bank. It was very hot, with just a few pedestrians around. Standing on the embankment, I could see into the labor camp.

I sent forth righteous thoughts while I walked around the wall. I hung a few small banners and tied some leaflets and a copy of Minghui Weekly to a stick and threw it into the labor camp. I hoped that the practitioners inside would be encouraged by seeing them, and that the evildoers would be frightened. I then returned home.

A fellow practitioner came to visit me a few days later. He used to work in the provincial capital, but was forced to resign due to pressure from his workplace. While we talked, he said that he wanted to go to the labor camp to install a truth-clarification loudspeaker. Apparently, practitioners in many parts of our country were using loudspeakers to broadcast the truth. I replied, “What a coincidence, I happened to have gone there not long ago, so I’m familiar with the surrounding area and road conditions.” So we made a plan to go.

After the practitioner left, I thought... Could this also be a mere coincidence? It seemed that my previous trip to the labor camp was preparation for this upcoming trip! I realized that when we have a simple desire to help Master save people, he will not only pave the way, but will also give us the mighty virtue to the succeed. We took a long-distance bus on the day of our departure. The bus happened to have a luggage rack on top, so we climbed up to tie a bicycle onto it, as there would not be a return bus at night.

When we arrived at the labor camp location, we hid in a large cornfield to wait until dark. We sent forth righteous thoughts for a long time. It was very quiet, except for the periodic sound of a whistle coming from the road in the distance. When it was dark, the other practitioner exclaimed, “Let’s get started!”

We walked out of the cornfield with our bags on our backs, leaving our bicycle behind. When we got on the levee, we could see the lights in the labor camp, and could occasionally see people walking around. We wanted to put the loudspeaker in a big willow tree. The tree was thick and tall, and the branches were very high off the ground.

I often climbed trees when I was a child but hadn’t done so in years. While gazing at that big tree, I lowered my voice and said, “This tree is not easy to climb.” My companion said he would try. I asked, “Can you do it?” He replied yes. So I squatted down, held the tree with both hands and said, “Step on my shoulders, and I will stand up, so it will be easier for you to climb.” He hesitated for a moment and asked, “Are you sure it’s okay?” I replied, “No problem, go ahead!” He stepped onto my shoulders, while I slowly stood up.

I watched him climb up, and actually felt guilty because I had grown up in the countryside and should have been the one climbing the tree, but I pushed the burden onto him. This was not only because I was afraid of hardship. It was actually a form of selfishness. Master requires practitioners to be selfless and consider others first. On the surface, it was just climbing a tree, but in reality there were factors of overcoming tests in actual cultivation. I didn’t do what I was supposed to do at that critical moment. Many years have since passed, and when I think of that scene I still feel guilty.

He climbed up, lowered the rope down, and pulled up the large bag of equipment and tools. In this way, the work in the tree depended on him alone. I began concentrating on sending righteous thoughts under the tree, and asked Master to help us succeed. Time passed, minute by minute, and it felt like a long time. I didn’t care about how many mosquitoes were crawling on my back, and I didn’t feel bitten. Occasionally, a farmer drove past the river bank on a tractor, so I ducked down in the grass.

The practitioner kept working in the tree. He sometimes used a small flashlight, then immediately turned it off. He used it again and again. Fortunately, the branches and leaves were dense, and the light was not easy seen from afar. Occasionally, there was the sound of small branches breaking. The amazing thing at the time was that disco music could be heard coming from the labor camp. It was chaotic and loud, and it cancelled out our sounds. I felt that Master was watching over us and strengthening us.

The practitioner in the tree finally lowered the rope and came down. He said he tied a piece of plastic over the equipment to prevent rain from getting on it. Otherwise, he would have come down earlier. He said, “Let’s leave. The button has been activated, and the program will start playing in a few dozen minutes.”

On the way home, we took turns peddling the bicycle. It felt so relaxing and enjoyable. We were hungry, and bought a small watermelon on the way. It was late at night when we got home.

We had always wanted to know whether the truth-clarification program was successfully broadcast on the loudspeaker. I later heard from practitioners who came out of the labor camp that they heard the broadcast, and the sound was very clear. The guards were confused and even fired guns. They found the speaker the next day.

When we have a pure intention that is in accordance with the Fa and beneficial for saving sentient beings and eliminating evil, we will receive Master’s affirmation and help. He will make the arrangements to help us achieve success. Thank you, Master!
