Additional Persecution News from China – July 10, 2025 (10 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Chonghua Arrested
2. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Kuanfen Harassed; Ms. Wen Guoxiang Faces Trial
3. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Detained
4. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Gao Fengjiao Harassed
5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xinlan’s Case Submitted to the Procuratorate
6. [Tianjin] Practitioner Li Jianran Detained
7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wu Junfeng Tried and Awaits Verdict
8. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners and Several Family Members Harassed
9. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiufen Detained
10. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shiying Arrested

1. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Chonghua Arrested

The police broke into Ms. Zhu Chonghua’s home and arrested her on July 8, 2025. Ms. Zhu has been detained since.

2. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Kuanfen Harassed; Ms. Wen Guoxiang Faces Trial

Ms. Yang Kuanfen was arrested on March 23, 2025, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was detained for two days and then released due to her health. Jinling Police Station officers kept calling her afterward and demanded to see her.

Another practitioner, Ms. Wen Guoxiang, was arrested on March 26, 2025, and released due to her health. She is now facing trial as her case recently reached the Zhaoyuan City Court.

3. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Detained

Ms. Wang, first name unknown, from Yanjiao Town, was followed and arrested by plainclothes officers on June 30, 2025. She is being held in the Sanhe City Detention Center.

4. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Gao Fengjiao Harassed

The police have been harassing Ms. Gao Fengjiao over the past few months. Several officers went to her home again on the morning of July 8, 2025. She wasn’t in. When they couldn’t find her, they harassed her daughter instead and threatened to suspend Ms. Gao’s pension. Her daughter was terrified.

5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xinlan’s Case Submitted to the Procuratorate

Ms. Wang Xinlan, 85, is facing prosecution after her case was submitted to the Tianqiao District Procuratorate.

6. [Tianjin] Practitioner Li Jianran Detained

Li Jianran, gender unknown, from the Binhai New District, was arrested on June 24, 2025, after being reported for distributing information about Falun Gong. Li’s home was ransacked. Li was placed under criminal detention.

7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wu Junfeng Tried and Awaits Verdict

Mr. Wu Junfeng was tried in the Tianqiao District Court on the afternoon of July 2, 2025. No verdict was announced.

8. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners and Several Family Members Harassed

Ms. Xue Huishu and Ms. Liu Jianmei were harassed by Wang Huachen and two other officers from the Zhaozhuang Township Police Station in Wangdu County on the evening of June 25, 2025. The officers took photos of the practitioners against their will and asked them if they still practiced Falun Gong.

Mr. Wang Guoqi, Ms. Tian Minhua, and their family members were harassed over the phone by Chengguan Town Police Station officers on the morning of June 30, 2025. Three officers also went to Ms. Tian’s family store that afternoon.

9. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiufen Detained

Ms. Wang Xiufen was arrested by Yuantai Police Station officers on the afternoon of July 8, 2025. They ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder. She was given 10 days id detention.

10. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shiying Arrested

Ms. Li Shiying, 84, was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong in a supermarket on the morning of July 2, 2025. She was arrested by officers from the Pudong Police Station. They ransacked her home and confiscated about 30 Falun Gong books, a radio, bookmarks, and hand-copied Falun Gong lectures. Ms. Li was released that afternoon.
