Abandoning Human Notions and Introducing Dafa to My Relatives and Students

(Minghui.org) The holiday greetings to Master from new Falun Dafa students on Minghui.org deeply moved me. I regretfully realized that many new students have obtained the Fa during such a cruel persecution, and I had held onto a view that it was difficult for new students to come in. I recently abandoned my human notions and introduced Dafa to my relatives and students.

My Daughter Begins to Memorize the Fa

I had been jailed three times because of practicing Falun Dafa. Due to my sentiment towards my daughter and my fear that practicing Dafa may cause her to be persecuted, I didn’t encourage her to practice Dafa, even after she graduated and found a job. Despite this, she was forced to resign during a so-called “zero-tolerance” campaign to eradicate Falun Gong.

After losing her job, my daughter became addicted to her phone and played with it until midnight. I set a certain time for her to study and recite the Fa with me. Although she was impatient, she followed my instructions so she could have more time to play with her phone. One day, she said to me, “I can almost memorize it after reading it over and over.” So we changed our roles. She recited, and I read the book to prompt and correct her. After memorizing one paragraph after another, my daughter’s confidence increased.

She became interested in memorizing the Fa, since she knew how difficult it had been for me to do it. She had been the person who prompted and corrected me since she was very young, and she knew that sometimes it took me many days to memorize a paragraph.

I have finally memorized the entire Zhuan Falun after many years. My daughter can now recite the Fa by herself, although she needs some prompting and correcting, and this is very rare. After reciting Zhuan Falun, we tried to recite five volumes of Hong Yin, and the results were unexpected. She memorized the first three volumes very fluently, but needed prompting for the fourth and fifth volumes.

I shed tears and felt grateful to Master. I deeply know how precious it is to obtain the Fa.

Niece: “I Want to Practice Cultivation Too!”

I have not returned to my hometown for over a decade because of the persecution. I recently heard that my younger niece Xiaoyue was getting married, so I went to her wedding, though I had not been invited. When she saw me there, she came and hugged me and told me she cried when she heard I was coming. Her bridegroom said, “When Xiaoyue heard you were coming, she jumped up and down excitedly and then burst into tears.” I also had the chance to meet my elder niece.

My elder niece is a young doctoral supervisor at a university. Talented and beautiful, she is the pride of the family. Before the wedding banquet, she said to me that if I could open a live broadcast channel to benefit more people, it would be very popular. I didn't reject her idea, but told her a story about a student of mine.

I worked at a tutoring school. When I started working, I promised the principal that I would not clarify the truth directly to the children, thinking that instead I could subtly influence them to be good people. One of my students was a boy who was disliked by his classmates and teachers. He seemed dirty and disrespected, and did not know how to respect others. His grades were very low. In my class, the child became a sensible, confident, loving, and self-motivated student. One day, news came that he had been electrocuted to death while visiting his grandmother’s home in the countryside during a holiday. I bitterly regretted that I had given him so much human care, but I couldn’t save his life. I said to my elder niece, “So I know that introducing people to Dafa has a greater meaning for their lives.”

We had a family dinner in the evening. My elder niece spoke to all relatives when toasting, “My aunt is a fashionista (in fact, I was the only one with gray hair in the room), and she has extraordinary talents. We are all laypeople. In the past, I didn’t have the courage to express my support by giving her a hug.” She then hugged me and said, “Aunt, I want to practice cultivation too!”

I was shocked that my niece expressed her desire to follow me in cultivation. I have nothing valuable in the secular world. My daughter has lost her job, my husband is not allowed to be employed and has to do odd jobs, and he is still being persecuted as a key person. Sentient beings are looking forward to being saved.

Later, at a small banquet where I was not present, when a family member mentioned that they did not understand my persistence in cultivation, my elder niece replied, “If my aunt shared her wisdom, it might benefit many people, but what she is doing now is more meaningful.” I knew that she understood the meaning of cultivation practice, so I gave her a complete set of digital Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. She gladly accepted them.

Another Niece Obtains the Fa

Another niece had learned the truth many years ago, but I never thought she would start practicing. After I lost my job, she invited me to join her tutoring organization, but I politely declined. One reason for me declining her invitation was that she provided offerings to some messy things to prolong her son’s life, so I didn’t want to come into contact with her and refused her visits many times.

She asked to visit me again this year. My righteous thoughts had strengthened, and I felt that it was her time to learn the Fa, so I happily agreed. I overcame a lot of human notions and interference and invited her to join the local Fa study group for three days, and we studied a total of six lectures. Seeing her serious look when studying the Fa, I could feel that her enlightened side was looking forward to being saved. My niece said that Dafa made her understand the true meaning of life, and she wanted to truly cultivate.

Junior High School Student: “I will believe in Falun Gong from now on”

I happened to teach a group of junior high school students. In my usual classes, I often used the theistic worldview to broaden their thinking and train them to think about problems from multiple perspectives.

The students and their parents were very anxious before the high school entrance exam. I was thinking about whether to clarify the truth, and kept delaying it until the day before the exam. I prepared many pieces of paper with “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” for the children, but I was still hesitant.

At this time, a student came to me to write a blessing for him. I knew that Master was using the student to enlighten me, because I could not make up my mind. I began to pass out the pieces of paper to the children one by one, some in the classroom, and some in the smaller classroom. I taught them to recite the two phrases and told them about the example of my niece, who was admitted to a key university after being an average student, because she recited the phrases.

A boy said, “This will benefit me for the rest of my life!” Another girl saw the principal coming in and quietly put the piece of paper in her pocket. She later said loudly, “I will believe in Falun Gong from now on.” This girl is a top student in a key school. She is open-minded, pretty, and intelligent. I didn’t expect that she would accept the truth so devoutly.

Although I was reprimanded for this, I felt it was worth it to save so many young lives. I am grateful to Master for giving me the opportunity to let go of my stubborn notions and strengthen my righteous thoughts so I can spread the Fa!
