(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 19 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wei Changbao and Two Family Members Missing
2. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
3. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Hou Yongduo and His Wife Ms. Song Yanju Arrested
4. [Dongkou County, Hunan Province] Ms. Xiao Hongyan and Xiang Lingyun Arrested
5. [Guang’an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Dagui Facing Indictment
6. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Chen Youtian Detained
7. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Guo Shujie Harassed
8. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhou Xiuzhen Under Surveillance
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yan Detained
10. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Guiqin Arrested
11. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Wang Shuqin Arrested
12. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yi Fengying and Ms. Hu Arrested
1. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wei Changbao and Two Family Members Missing
Mr. Wei Changbao and two of his family members went missing on November 20, 2025. Their phones have been unanswered.
2. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
Three practitioners were sentenced to prison in early January 2025 for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. Ms. Ma Huimin was sentenced to three years, Ms. Li Guifen received two and a half years, and a practitioner surnamed Chen, gender and first name unknown, was given one year.
3. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Hou Yongduo and His Wife Ms. Song Yanju Arrested
Mr. Hou Yongduo and his wife Ms. Song Yanju from Liangshan Town, Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County, were recently arrested. Their home was ransacked.
4. [Dongkou County, Hunan Province] Ms. Xiao Hongyan and Xiang Lingyun Arrested
Ms. Xiao Hongyan and Xiang Lingyun were arrested by officers from the Dongkou County Domestic Security Division on October 29, 2025. Their homes were ransacked.
5. [Guang’an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Dagui Facing Indictment
Ms. Huang Dagui was arrested on November 3, 2025. Her case has been submitted to the Shunqing District Procuratorate in Nanchong City.
6. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Chen Youtian Detained
Four officers including Xiao Jingming went to Mr. Chen Youtian’s restaurant around 11 a.m. on November 20, 2025. They deceived Mr. Chen into going to the police station with them and arrested him upon arrival. Mr. Chen has been admitted to the Qinhuangdao City Lockup.
7. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Guo Shujie Harassed
Ms. Guo Shujie was harassed by five people from the Lou District Police Department and Wangjiahe Community Office at 5 p.m. on November 3, 2025. They tried to force Ms. Guo to sign a guarantee statement, which she refused.
Ms. Guo and her non-practitioner husband were summoned to the Changling Community Office on November 11, 2025. Six people from the local community office, the Domestic Security Division, and the Political and Legal Affairs Committee were there. Ms. Guo didn’t allow them to take photos of her during the conversation and refused to sign any documents. The couple went home about 20 minutes later.
8. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhou Xiuzhen Under Surveillance
Ms. Zhou Xiuzhen, 85, is under police surveillance.
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yan Detained
Ms. Liu Yan was arrested by Dalianwan Police Station officers on November 8, 2025. The police gave her 15 days of detention, but didn’t enforce it immediately. As she refused to report to the police as ordered, the police seized Ms. Liu from her home on November 19 and took her to the Jinnan Road Lockup.
10. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Guiqin Arrested
Ms. Zhou Guiqin, in her 80s, was arrested by Yanfen Police Station officers when she was talking to people about Falun Gong in a park at 10 a.m. on November 13, 2025. The police ransacked her home using the key snatched from her, and confiscated all of her Falun Gong books. She was released in the afternoon.
Ms. Zhou returned to the police station several times and tried to retrieve her books. The police chief refused to see her.
11. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Wang Shuqin Arrested
Ms. Wang Shuqin was reported to the police for distributing Falun Gong calendars and was arrested by officers from the Changqing Street Police Station on November 13, 2025. She was released later that day.
12. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yi Fengying and Ms. Hu Arrested
Ms. Yi Fengying and Ms. Hu were arrested by Liyuan Town Police Station officers while talking to people about Falun Gong at Xincun Market in Kaiping District on November 21, 2025. They were released around 5 p.m.
