(Minghui.org) The annual Buckboard Days Parade was held in Rowland Heights, California on October 18, 2025, and approximately 50 groups participated. The city is known for its Asian culture, and family-friendly atmosphere.
Among the many marching bands, equestrian performance groups, and classic cars, the Falun Dafa group stood out with its unique traditional Chinese cultural style and energetic spirit, drawing attention and winning warm applause from the multi-ethnic audience along the way.

The parade began at 9:00 a.m. on Nogales Street, and continued along Colima Road to Rowland Heights Park.
Practitioners carried a large banner that read: “Falun Dafa Is Wonderful - A Path to Your True Self” to introduce Falun Dafa and the core principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The first team of the Falun Dafa group consisted of over 20 waist drum members wearing bright yellow costumes. The second team of over 30 practitioners demonstrated the third Falun Dafa exercise.
Many people took photos and warmly applauded as practitioners passed. The parade moderator introduced Falun Dafa and stressed its beneficial effect in improving health and quality of life.
After the parade, Falun Dafa practitioners gathered in Rowland Heights Park to do the exercises and many people stopped and watched. The practitioners set up a display stand which had informational materials and small origami lotus flowers, to introduce the spiritual practice and raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China.
Some of the spectators remarked that the Falun Dafa group's participation reflected the community’s support for diverse spiritual cultures.
