(Minghui.org) I’m a Falun Dafa practitioner who began practicing before the persecution began on July 20, 1999. I persist in making time daily to read fellow practitioners’ experiences sharing articles on the Minghui website, as well as studying the Fa, clarifying the facts about Dafa to others, and sending righteous thoughts. I’m very happy when I see the photo ofMaster Li on the Minghui homepage and feel excited to read His new articles as soon as they are published.

Unfortunately, my computer’s connection speed slowed down a lot after the Chinese New Year, and I sometimes could not access the website for a long time. I tried turning on my computer earlier in the day, but my attempts to open Minghui’s homepage still failed. I even left the computer on until midnight without any success. I became worried because I needed to upload the list of withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, and other files. I even asked fellow practitioners for help and upgraded my home Internet speed, but the issue persisted. I felt anxious and frustrated.

About a month later, my husband changed our household socket cord and the Internet speed improved right away. I could visit the Minghui website immediately. Our days were brightened with the blessing of accessing Minghui smoothly. However, the good results lasted only nine days, and the connection speed dropped again. Nothing had changed with our Internet speed, network cable, and computer. So what caused the slowness? I realized I could no longer look outward and needed to look inward to figure out the problem.

During the next 10 days, I continued to visit Minghui daily, despite the slow speed. Furthermore, I examined my words and deeds to find out what did not meet the requirements of Dafa (and align with Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance). At the same time, I asked the fellow practitioners in my family to pay attention to cultivating our xinxing and look inward when encountering conflicts.

In the cultivation process, I found it easier to deal with conflicts with other practitioners rather than with those within my family. Sometimes, we would argue about right or wrong over simple matters. To remind each other to look inward and cultivate ourselves, I wrote Master’s teachings on a small piece of paperboard and hung it on the wall, it reads:

“You must get to the point where you are able to take criticism, regardless of who it’s from. If there is truth to it you correct it, and if not, you are mindful of it. If you can stay unruffled while being criticized or chided, you are improving. (Teachings at the Conference in Los Angeles)

I kept looking inward and finally found my behavior that was not aligned with the Fa. I played the game Mahjong several times with my sisters and other relatives who visited us during the Chinese New Year. Upon their request, we also played it for money. Additionally, I found my attachments of impatience and selfishness, and tried to eliminate them.

When I made an offering of incense and fruit to Master on April 13, I knelt in front of his portrait to confess and promise that I would never play Mahjong again. It was a waste of time and deviated from the proper state of a cultivator.

After confessing to Master, I was able to connect to the Minghui website immediately. The moment when I saw Master’s picture on the homepage, I felt so excited and grateful, beyond what words could describe. Master is always watching over practitioners and expects them to improve by assimilating to the Fa! From that day on, I can access the Minghui website without any problems.

I wrote this article to expose my behavior that was not in line with the Fa and also to remind fellow practitioners not to look outward when encountering issues. Instead, we must look inward to identify and correct any behaviors which are not in accordance with the Fa.
