(Minghui.org) I had a good memory during my more than ten years as a student in elementary and secondary technical schools. I could almost memorize all texts and poems after I read them three times. My academic records were among the best. I was envied by my classmates and praised by the teachers.

But things changed in 1978 after an accident. I fell and hit the back of my head on a hard sharp object. I suffered a concussion and was hospitalized for a period of time. After the treatment, I continued to feel discomfort in the area on my skull that had been fractured and was still healing. My head was very sensitive to wind and cold and I wore a hat all year round. My memory also faded, and I had a hard time remembering even simple things. I had to write down things-to-do in a small notebook which I kept in my pocket. I was only in my 30s at that time. I was in great pain, feeling that my brain had turned into a piece of wood.

I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1995. One day in the spring of 1996, I suddenly had a bunch of egg-sized bumps appearing on the back of my head. I lay down for a while, thinking of the bad things I had done. In my heart I confessed my wrongdoings to Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa. About half an hour later, I felt as if a stream of cool breeze flew through my head, and the bumps began to shrink. I knew Master was cleansing my body.

After a series of karma eliminations, all of the bumps disappeared completely. I felt the fractured area of my skull and it was now totally closed and sealed. My memory gradually returned to the level I had known in my days as a student.

I am 77 now. I can still recite the texts and poems that I memorized when I was a student. When studying the Fa, I am as good as young practitioners in responding to readings or the memorization of Fa. This has impressed my son and his wife.

My little grandson asked why his grandma could remember those things that his parents could not. I told him it was Falun Dafa that gave me good health and enhanced my memory.
