(Minghui.org) Cases of COVID have exploded in China recently. We know that the COVID virus—also known as the CCP virus (after the Chinese Communist Party)—is targeting CCP party members and those who follow the CCP closely. But why are many Dafa practitioners in China also having COVID-like symptoms?

My daughter had a fever a week ago and I stayed at her place for three days to take care of her. The night I returned home, I also had a fever that wasn’t gone by the next day. But I was not bothered by it and continued doing things that I would normally do. On the fourth day, I went to a group Fa study and shared my experience with other practitioners. We all agreed that the “symptoms” that some practitioners, myself included, were experiencing were just illusions.

I knew that I must have a loophole in my cultivation that caused my symptoms. I realized that I subconsciously looked at things with the mindset of someone steeped in CCP culture, like most people who grew up in communist China do. Although I have been practicing Dafa for many years, this problem still existed and it led to the “symptoms.” We practitioners in China must take this matter seriously and look inward to see if we still have any remnants of CCP influence.

This incident also made me wonder, “After practicing Dafa for over 20 years, do I believe in Master 100%?” I used to think that I would absolutely have full faith in Master and Dafa no matter what happened. The “symptoms” this time showed that I was not there yet. The illusion of “infection” interfered with me and exposed my lack of faith, which was an indication of the Party culture’s influence on me, including atheism.

I also believe my “symptoms” were a manifestation that Dafa was purging remnants of atheism and other CCP elements from me. After all, as we have learned from Master’s teachings, anything a practitioner encounters is a good thing. As long as our cultivation is in line with the Fa, Master will offer us guidance on the Fa and give us the best.

The above are my understandings at my level. Please compassionately point out anything inappropriate.

Thank you, Master, for your compassionate salvation!
