A Political and Legal Affairs Committee Secretary Learns The Truth

(Minghui.org) My wife told me in July 2022 that the party secretary of the local Political and Legal Affairs Committee wanted to come to our home to see me. At first, I did not want to see him. But on second thought, I knew I should validate Falun Dafa and clarify the truth to him to clear up any misunderstandings so that he would no longer persecute Dafa practitioners.

The party secretary and a clerk showed up a few days later. The clerk started a video recording with his cell phone as soon as they entered my home. I said, “Please stop that immediately. Why are you recording in my home? It is illegal and a violation of my human rights. If you do not stop, I will not cooperate.” The party secretary asked the clerk to stop and delete the video.

The secretary told me that he had a college degree. I told him it was good to have a college degree and an understanding of the law. I then started to clarify the truth to him, “Let me tell you why I cultivate Falun Dafa and what the benefit is. Right after I began to practice, my long-term hemorrhoids were cured. Do you know anyone who was cured of this? It’s a miracle! The stomach disease and headaches I suffered from were also cured. I am over 60 years old. I would not lie to you.” He said that he believed me.

I continued, “I not only have a healthy body, but my moral standard improved greatly as well. Everyone in my family and at work agrees that I am a good person. Falun Dafa practitioners are good people. Persecuting Dafa is similar to how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuted many good people during the Cultural Revolution. Did you know that when the Cultural Revolution ended, the head of the Beijing Police Department committed suicide because of the crimes he committed? Many people who carried out the CCP’s persecution during that time were taken to Yunnan Province and shot.”

“Falun Dafa will be redressed in the future. I truly advise you that you should not persecute practitioners. Why are you looking for trouble? If you do not get involved, you will be safe in the future.”

The party secretary replied, “This is my job. I have to follow the upper level authority’s order.”

I told him, “It is for your own safety that you do not persecute us. Dafa practitioners never commit any bad deeds. If all Chinese people learned Falun Dafa, society would be much improved. Looking at the state of things now, many officials have done bad things such as cheating and prostitution. Teachers collect arbitrary fees from their students, and many doctors accept red envelopes (money) from patients. How messed up is this society? You see now that the plague has come. Heaven is punishing bad people. It is true that the good will be rewarded with good and the evil will receive retribution. You should really do the right thing!”

The secretary replied, “I understand. Please go back to your work. I won’t disturb you anymore.” During the visit, I maintained my righteous thoughts and actions and, as it turned out, he did not ask me to sign anything.
