Texas State Representative: “Better Understanding of the Falun Gong Story Will Help Texans Better Understand the Threat From the CCP That We All Face”

(Minghui.org) On the 22nd anniversary of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, several state representatives in Texas sent letters in support of Falun Gong practitioners and their persistent efforts in peacefully resisting the persecution.

The representatives included Larry Taylor, State Senator of the 11th District; Dr. Alma Allen, State Representative of the 131st District; Leo Pacheco, State Representative of the 118th District; Lyle Larson, State Representative of the 122nd District; Harold V Dutton, State Representative of the 142nd District; and James White, State Representative of the 19th District.

Representative White’s letter was the latest to be received. He expressed his gratitude to Falun Gong practitioners for their efforts to “bring awareness of the persecution, forced organ harvesting, and other crimes committed by the CCP to Chinese citizens.” He also said, “A better understanding of the Falun Gong story will help Texans better understand the threat from the CCP that we all face.”

To the Southern USA Falun Dafa Association:

Today, July 20th, 2021, marks the 22nd anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal campaign to eliminate Falun Gong. Falun Gong, an ancient Chinese spiritual discipline in the Buddhist tradition, upholds the values of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance as its core values.

Those who practice Falun Gong in China do so knowing that they can face jail time or torture from the CCP’s authorities. I stand with these citizens who exercise their God given right to freedom of religion, freedom of thought, freedom of speech, and freedom of assembly which the United States has enshrined in the First Amendment to our Constitution.

I am truly thankful for the efforts of the Southern USA Falun Dafa Association whose endeavors bring awareness of the persecution, forced organ harvesting, and other crimes committed by the CCP to Chinese citizens. Falun Gong is the first victim group of the 21st century under the CCP’s tyranny. It has also emerged as the single biggest whistleblower of the CCP’s crimes. A better understanding of the Falun Gong story will help Texans better understand the threat from the CCP that we all face.
