People’s Reactions Encourage Me to Do Better

(Minghui.org) I became a Falun Dafa practitioner in March 1997. Practitioners’ truth clarification efforts have enabled many people to understand what Dafa is about and why we are being persecuted. I’ve noticed that our kindness has affected people in a positive way, and I’d like to share some stories with readers.

My husband and I were walking home after talking to people about Falun Dafa and I was walking behind my husband when a man rode past. So I greeted him and handed him a booklet. He got off the bicycle to talk to me and seemed to have an idea about Dafa. I then shared more information about the practice, the persecution, and the importance of renouncing the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates.

The man agreed to quit the Party and its affiliates, and said “You are doing a good thing! But be careful.” He noticed my husband turned his head to look at me and asked who he was and why he was looking at me. “That’s my husband,” I said. “Oh! I saw him looking at you and was worried about you,” said the man.

His words warmed my heart. There are still good people who care about Dafa practitioners despite the lies and the persecution by the CCP.

Another time, I went shopping at a large market. A vendor gave me 10 extra yuan. I immediately gave her back the money and told her about Dafa and the persecution. She agreed to withdraw from the Party and its affiliates. 

Another vendor had heard our conversation, so I clarified the truth while buying noodles from her. She said she had already quit the Party. I had seven small bags of groceries, and she helped me put all of them into one big bag.

“You are Doing a Good Thing!”

While I was distributing the book, The Ultimate Goal of Communism, at a small community park, I ran into someone who looked familiar. I could not remember where I had met him so I gave him a copy. He took the book, and said after a brief pause, “This is a good book, a very good book!” 

I told him he could keep the book if he wanted. “I already have a copy,” he replied. “Why don’t you give this to someone else and let them read it? You are doing a good thing! I have lent mine to my relatives, and they gave it back to me after they were done. My copy is pretty old and worn out.”

He was a good person. I thought, because he shared the book with others, more people came to understand the CCP’s true nature. People are helping us spread the word!

People Come to Us to Hear about Dafa

When we were out clarifying the truth, I didn’t know why people often approached us, but then I realized they had predestined relationships to hear about Falun Dafa.

I encountered a dozen workers recently, and one of them walked out of the crowd, so I summoned him over. He looked at me, somewhat surprised. I told him about Dafa and the persecution and helped him quit the CCP. He also accepted two amulets and went back to the group.

I asked the practitioner next to me, “Why did he leave the group to walk all the way over to us?” The practitioner replied, “He came to hear the truth and be awakened!”

Dafa practitioners are here to offer salvation to good people and those who are lost and don’t know the truth. I should do better with the limited time left. I will study the Fa diligently, cultivate well, clarify the truth to more people, and do the three things well.
