(Minghui.org) I was taking my grandson to kindergarten on the back seat of my bike in 2013. I was going uphill when a car coming in the opposite direction hit us. When I sat up, I was near the front wheel of the car. My grandson was holding the bike that had fallen down. He was not hurt or upset.
I was not frightened, because Master protects cultivators.
The driver came over to me, followed by a few officials from our town, one of whom I knew. One of the men asked if I could get up and wanted to take me to a hospital.
The wheel of the car was still partially on my foot, so I could not get up. The driver moved the car enough for me to stand up. I did not have any pain.
A small crowd gathered, and again one of the officials said they should take me to the hospital.
I said, “I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. I’m fine. And I will not ask you for money. Our Master teaches us to follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. That is how a practitioner behaves.”
The official I knew still wanted me to get checked out at the hospital. I moved around so they could see that I was not injured. They finally relaxed.
I could hear people in the crowd talking: “She is a good person.” “She does not want to go to the hospital or ask for money.” “Falun Dafa is so good.” The driver thanked me.
“No need to thank me. It is because of Master Li Hongzhi, who teaches us to always think of others first.”
When I returned home, my neighbor asked me how my foot was. I said I was fine. She told me she had written down the plate number of the car that had hit me. If this had happened to anyone else, they would have at least asked for some compensation.
I said, “I’m fine. I have no pain or discomfort. I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. I don't need any money from them.”
She said, “Okay, now I understand. Falun Dafa is good.”
A few days later, I saw the official from that day that I knew. He greeted me and asked if I had any pain from the accident. I told him that I was fine. He said, “Master Li protected you.”
I said, “Definitely. If it hadn't been for Master Li's protection, my grandson and I could have both been seriously injured. Master saved our lives.”
He gave me thumbs up and said, “Falun Dafa is good.”
My neighbors witnessed this and now know that Dafa is precious.
