Falun Gong practitioners in South Australia gathered in Adelaide on July 21 to draw attention to the 21-year-long persecution in China by the Chinese Communist Party. Two practitioners described the persecution they were subjected to in China. Several elected officials and community leaders spoke during the event and condemned these severe human rights violations.
Ten elected officials from Hesse, Germany, including Members of the European Parliament, Members of the Federal Parliament, and Members of the State Parliament sent letters to support Falun Gong and condemn the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of the peaceful group as the persecution reached the 21-year mark.
As more countries feel the threat of the Chinese Communist Party, top U.S. officials have led the effort to counter the CCP’s erosion of freedom and universal values in the free world. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the Chinese regime consistently breaks its promises to the world and urged other countries to join an international effort to hold the CCP accountable.

The Secretary General called for human rights to come first in Canada's relationship with China, noting, “Human rights cannot take a back seat to trade and investment, as they have for far too long.”
A Member of the Chamber of Deputies said, “Everyone in government agencies should ask themselves why they've turned a blind eye to the tragedy that is happening in China.”
Falun Dafa practitioners from the San Francisco Bay area formed a convoy of vehicles to commemorate 21 years of peaceful resistance to the persecution in China.
