(Minghui.org) I was always around believers of Taoism when I was a child, so at an early age I wondered when I could cultivate, and where I could find a Master.
I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. But when the persecution started in July 1999, my husband turned against the practice, because he had been heavily influenced by the Chinese Communist Party's lies and propaganda on state-run media.
His attitude changed over time however, when he saw the positive changes in me. He also stepped on the cultivation path in 2003. Our son started practicing Falun Dafa at the age of nine.
Family Benefits from Dafa
I used to be competitive, and almost always got my own way. But after I started practicing I knew that this mentality was wrong, so I followed the Fa principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. I became kind to others, and learned to listen more.
I was diagnosed with a severe calcium deficiency when I was 14 years old, and my legs were bent. My husband used to have dizzy spells, and would need to sit down quickly when he felt them coming on, lest he black out and fall down. My son had bad teeth from an early age, and had abscesses on his gums. His teeth always hurt, and the dentist had to clean out his mouth regularly.
All of our ailments disappeared after we started practicing Falun Dafa. My legs even straightened.
The three of us no longer have any illnesses.
Wake-up Call
I remember having a dream one night in June 2005. I was standing on the top of a temple, waiting for an important person to arrive. I knew in my mind that I was waiting for Master.
Master came, and lifted me up to the clouds. Three lords appeared, wearing yellow robes. They were very calm, and were looking down at something. Behind them was a golden throne that was empty. Master then put me down at the side of a river bank.
I shouted desperately, “Master, please don’t go! Master, please don’t leave.” The shouting actually woke me up.
I looked at husband, and said, “Get up! Get up!” Tears were streaming down my face when I told him about my dream.
I realized that this was a wake-up call for the both of us, so we decided to be diligent and upright in cultivation from then on.
Materials Production Site
Falun Dafa practitioners in our region were severely persecuted in 2008, with many being arrested. As a result, the production of Dafa materials nearly dried up. But when the Minghui editorial board suggested that more home materials production sites be established in China, sites started cropping up everywhere ensuring that materials were always available.
My husband and I needed to go to the materials production site in the large city in late 2010. Once we arrived there, we were shocked to find a large note stuck to the front entrance, “Please contact the landlord as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will be at risk of receiving a penalty – from the neighborhood committee.
We didn't take off the paper, and quietly entered the building and went to the apartment.
Shortly after, we heard someone knock at the door. We kept quiet and heard two women talking to each other. Then they left.
We went to see the landlord to find out what was happening.
“I'm so pleased you've come,” he said. “They said that they would get the police to break in to the apartment if no one came by tomorrow. There's a leak, and they want to find out where its coming from.”
The practitioner who rented the apartment wasn't contactable. It was Master who let us know that we were needed to go to the apartment.
With Master’s protection, we have walked through many tests and tribulations over the past 20 years.
