(Minghui.org) The Wuhan coronavirus suddenly broke out at the end of 2019 and soon developed into a global pandemic. With such a tragedy hitting the human world, what are we, Falun Dafa practitioners, doing to save people?
Master taught us:
“Every incident, every occurrence of such magnitude, is the best test and best opportunity for students to make that best step toward Consummation. Some of us were able to step forward. Some felt that they [did the right thing by] not making a move for the sake of actual cultivation.” (Teaching the Fa at the Assistants’ Fa Conference in Changchun)
At such a critical moment, however, I’m seeing different cultivation states among fellow practitioners.
While some practitioners are racing against time and seizing every moment to save sentient beings, some practitioners act as if nothing had happened and wait to see what others are doing; some feel helpless and frustrated and don’t know what to do–their wisdom and capability are blocked by the fear of the epidemic; some indulge in family lives and devote most of their time to their children; and some others couldn’t let go of the conflicts among practitioners and cause interference to certain projects.
Master taught us:
“The evil will take advantage and cause trouble if you don't coordinate and cooperate well. With a lot of the Fa-rectification things, it's not that there is no way to do them. No matter how hard it is, there is a path for you to take, even though it is a fairly narrow one. You have to go down that path correctly, and it won't work if you come up even a little short or stray a little bit. Nevertheless, there is a path for you. In other words, you need to go down it correctly. If you don't, the evil that currently exists will take advantage of it and cause trouble. In fact what I've just been talking about is the question of validating yourself versus validating the Fa when you work together on something--that's the issue.” (Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York)
Master also taught us:
“Do this compassionately no matter who it is, and with a compassion that can melt steel you'll be able to do it well.” (Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference)
Compassion is not limited to doing lip service. Wherever there is a will, there is a way. As Dafa practitioners, as long as we have the heart to save people, Master will show the way to us.
Specifically, many fellow practitioners are still going out every day to talk to people, and Master brings people with predestined relationships to them. Some practitioners are printing more materials at home and distributing them in even wider areas. Many overseas practitioners are making more phone calls to the Chinese people, and the results are encouraging.
I believe this epidemic is a big test for all of us. No one will reveal the answer to us. We have to walk our own path and validate the Fa based on our own understanding of the Fa.
History holds many positive lessons for us. A century ago, when China was still at war, how many people left their families and hometowns to fight for the country? How many students gave up their education and joined the army? Even today, many Chinese citizens are speaking up against the communist regime’s cover-up of the coronavirus epidemic.
If everyday people can make personal sacrifices and contribute to the greater cause, why can’t we, Dafa disciples, take a step further to fight the old forces and save more people, which is our historic mission? We really can’t afford to stay idle or deviate from our cultivation path at such a critical moment.
When people don’t have access to the information that can provide deliverance to them, they will only sink deeper into the lies of the CCP.
Every time a life is lost, its corresponding universe is destroyed. This is a loss that can never be recovered. The key to saving people is in each and every Dafa practitioner's hand.
Let’s cultivate ourselves well and let our true compassion that “can melt the steel” emerge. After sentient beings understand the truth and are saved, they wil spread the truth further, resist the persecution, and the situation of the “entire nation stand[ing] up to resist the persecution” will occur.
