(Minghui.org) News of the Wuhan coronavirus epidemic has recently become known worldwide. With the spread of the virus, various cities have adopted a series of so-called preventive measures, such as community blocking and village closure. I was moved more or less by these actions.
Blocked by Laziness and Human Notions
Before the outbreak of the epidemic, fellow practitioners and I went out to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to people whenever we had time. Especially on Saturdays and Sundays, we clarified the truth about Dafa to people during certain times.
The blocking of communities was not initiated until the third day of the Chinese lunar new year. Before my residential district was closed, I thought that I should hurry up and hang the Dafa informational booklets on the doorknobs of peoples’ homes. They have the time to read the booklets and learn the truth when they are staying at home.
I thought so, but I didn’t go out, due to my laziness and lack of someone to join me. I stayed at home and wasted my time. Fellow practitioners and I planned to go out on the sixth night of lunar new year to hang banners, but we didn’t make it, as we believed that there were few people on the street. Even if we hung banners, few people would see them. In short, we were blocked by these negative thoughts.
I usually surf the Internet relatively smoothly. Other practitioners can’t access the Internet sometimes, but I haven’t been affected much. I can always access the Internet, even if it sometimes take a few tries, or takes a bit longer to connect. However, that good luck stopped on the second day of the lunar new year. I was unable to access the Internet for five or six days in a row, no matter when I tried, even at one o’clock in the morning when there were fewer people using the Internet. I looked inward. Did I study the Fa less? No, I recite the Fa every day to memorize one or two lectures. I was able to send righteous thoughts with a tranquil mind. What was the problem then?
I tried for a long time yesterday to access the Internet, and asked Master to help, but I still couldn’t log in. I felt very helpless, and guessed that other practitioners might have experienced the same thing, so I decided to discuss it with them the next day. I have been at home recently and haven’t contacted other practitioners. During this special period, if I visit fellow practitioners, their family members will be unhappy, so I did not go anywhere, and remained isolated.
Prodded by Diligent Practitioners to Spread the Truth
Today is the day when other practitioners and I had scheduled to go out to spread the information about Falun Dafa. I still thought before going went out that there would not be many people on the street, and may be less fellow practitioners. I just wanted to take a look.
Arriving at the destination, I first saw fellow practitioner Ge Mei. She told me that she had not come out until now, expecting that no one would be on the street – and she failed to access the Internet just like me.
Another two practitioners also arrived. They said that they had no problems accessing the Internet on a single click. Both of them are retirees. They control their time very tightly and go out to talk to people about Dafa almost every day. They have not been affected in the past few days, and still go out every day to talk about Dafa. They said that whoever they met were all waiting to hear about Dafa.
I asked them, “People now need to register when visiting any community. Do you still visit each other?”
“We do as usual. When you enter the gate, don’t think that the doorman will question you, just act like you’re going home.” They answered.
Listening to their words, I saw the gap between myself and them, and realized that I was wrong. I was blocked by my own expectations. My feet and the Internet were blocked by my incorrect thoughts.
They went together to spread the truth. Ge Mei and I were still standing there, feeling lost. Looking at the few people on the street, I didn’t know where to go. We both realized at the same time that we had been blocked by our human notions from talking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa.
We walked in the direction they were walking, hoping to catch up with the other two and communicate more, but they were too far ahead of us. We started to talk with people about Falun Dafa and quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations along the way. The effect was quite good. The people we met accepted our words. Ge Mei said that it was all arranged by Master.
Letting Go of Notions: Everything Back to Normal
People we met basically accepted the truth booklet, and some quit the CCP organizations. As we talked, we all felt the disintegration of the material that bound us in our hearts. Our minds were opened. We agreed that before going to work, we would go out every day to save people, no longer considering the number of people who would be on the street.
On the way back, I thought it should be fine for me to access the Internet. The first thing was to go online after I got home. Without any thought, I easily accessed the Internet after just clicking the anti-blockade software. I quickly downloaded weekly magazines, brochures, and more Falun Dafa materials. This continued for two consecutive days. I went online very smoothly when I came back from clarifying the truth outside. I know this was Master’s hint.
The above is a bit of my own experience. I shared it so fellow practitioners who were blocked the same as I, could break out of their own constraints, and clarify the truth to people.
