(Minghui.org) I stopped and spoke to a middle aged woman about Falun Dafa and the persecution while walking to the market with other practitioners on August 9, 2020. She agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
When we entered the market a woman from behind grabbed me and said, “You offended my privacy! I looked at her and saw it was the woman we had just talked to. She had followed us.
It was a busy day at the market. People gathered around us as I tried to free myself from her.
Someone in the crowd said, “What is going on?” I explained that I had told this woman about Falun Dafa, so she could have a safe future. She was receptive, but then followed us, grabbed me, and said she called the police.
Many people in the crowd were saying things to the woman such as, “What are you doing? She was trying to do you good, why don’t you let her go? You are dragging her! Let her go.”
The crowd distracted her and I thought I could break free and get away. However, I thought that as a Falun Dafa practitioner, if I acted aggressively like what she was doing, I would leave a bad impression for the people around us. I asked Master, in my mind, for help.
I talked to her calmly, “I was telling you the fact that Falun Dafa is good. Treating me like this is not good for you.”
The people around continued to tell her to let me go. Hearing the people yelling at her, she called out to people in the crowd, “Are you practicing Falun Dafa?” Are you practicing Falun Dafa?”
While she was yelling and becoming hysterical, a man in his 60s stood up and said in a loud voice, “I am learning Falun Dafa. What is wrong with that? Learning Falun Dafa does not break the law!”
People in the crowd continued to berate her, saying, “What is wrong with you? “Why are you hitting her? Let her go!”
Hearing people accuse her of hitting me, she replied, “I did not hit her! I did not hit her!” But, the people insisted, “Yes you did!”
Several police officers arrived. An officer said, “Tell me what is going on. Take turns explaining.”
The woman hurriedly said, “They (the crowd) all said that I hit her. But, I did not.” The crowd responded immediately, “She did hit her!” The woman became tearful and denied it, but the crowd kept saying she hit me.
Trying to figure out what had really happened, the police officers took me and the woman to the police station.
At the police station, a police officer asked me, “How much money are you paid for practicing Falun Dafa?” I told him, “I do not get any money, but I got my second life. If I had not started cultivating Falun Dafa I would have died long ago.”
Hearing my answer, the officer said, “Okay, I have no more questions. You can leave now. You can go home.”
I was a bit surprised. I hesitated a little before starting to get up slowly. The officer saw that I was moving slow and I think he wondered if I did not feel well. He said, “If you repeat ‘Falun Dafa is good’ you will be able to walk.”
I was deeply touched, and I understood that Master was encouraging me!
It took only five minutes, from the time I walked into the door of the police station until I was allowed to walk out the door.
It has been two weeks since this happened, but whenever I think about it, it moves me to tears.
People are waking up after learning about Falun Dafa, and they are speaking up for justice for Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Police officers are no longer cooperating with the persecution, and do not want to cause difficulties for practitioners. They have chosen a bright future!
