About a one-hour drive north of Cairns, Port Douglas, a popular beach and resort town, features Four Mile Beach, the aquamarine waters of the Great Barrier Reef, the canopy of the Daintree Rainforest, and the crystal creeks of Mossman Gorge.

Jessica from north Cairns Australia is grateful to have found Falun Dafa.
“I never understood what meditation was until my father recommended Falun Dafa to me and gave me the book Zhuan Falun in 2011,” Jessica recalled. “After I began practicing I experienced what real peace is.”
She said that after she began practicing her life changed from stressed and complex to simple and relaxed. “I'm very grateful that Master Li gave me Falun Dafa. I feel honored to be a practitioner. Former professional long distance runner: “Thank you for teaching me to be a kind person”
Julie-Anne tells everyone she knows how wonderful Falun Dafa is.
Julie-Anne, a professional long distance runner, won 23rd place at the Melbourne Marathon. In 2002, when she was only 42 years old, she became very ill.
“I saw a pamphlet about Falun Dafa so I started practicing. In just one month I regained my health. I immediately understood that this is not just an exercise for health and fitness,” she said.
“Through the teachings, Master answered my questions about life. I'm very thankful!” Julie-Anne said. “Thank you for teaching me to be a kind person. I tell everyone I know about Falun Dafa,” she added.
Maria, mother of four from Mareeba, started practicing Falun Dafa in 2005.
“I found an introductory pamphlet about Falun Dafa when I was teaching economics. Another teacher thought I might be interested in the practice and put the information in my mail. There's an exercise practice site in Mareeba, about 60 km from the school,” recalled Maria.
She said that practicing Falun Dafa helped her calmly handle matters and she's now able to handle challenging situations easily.
“I don’t know if any human words can describe how magnificent Falun Dafa is,” said Maria. “I'm very grateful that I have the predestined relationship to practice Falun Dafa in this lifetime. Master is so compassionate.”
“Falun Dafa taught me to be a better person,” said Lorena.
“Five years ago, someone introduced Falun Dafa to me in a coffee shop. That was the predestined moment I became a Falun Dafa practitioner,” Lorena recalled.
“Falun Dafa is righteous, true and wonderful. It taught me to be a better person and showed me the meaning of life,” she said. “I knew that this is the path I would walk on.”
Lorena has introduced Falun Dafa to her friends and family. Her daughter and grandchildren have also taken up the practice.
