Falun Gong Practitioners Tortured in Jilin Women’s Prison for Refusing to Renounce Their Belief
(Minghui.org) Jilin Province Women’s Prison in Changchun City has been aggressively participating in the persecution of Falun Gong since 1999.
All of the practitioners who refused to renounce their belief are on the first floor of the prison, isolated from the rest of the prisoners and ruthlessly tortured.
Most of the time they are not allowed to bathe. While they are given little food that is barely edible, the prisoners who assist the guards torturing the practitioners are rewarded with hearty meals.
The following are some recent examples.
1. Ms. Zhang Guixia Abused in Solitary Confinement for 99 Days
Three prisoners beat Ms. Zhang Guixia and reported her for not following the prison rules. Ms. Zhang was then put into solitary confinement on February 21, 2019.
For 99 days, she was given a small piece of bread every meal and a bottle of water each day. She wasn’t allowed to take showers or even wash her face.

3. Ms. Xiang Lijie Force-Fed
Ms. Xiang Lijie from Liaoyuan City was placed in solitary confinement on May 30, 2019. She went on a hunger strike and was force-fed for over 20 days by prisoners who couldn’t correctly insert the tube. They injured her nostrils, which bled profusely.
