Five Shandong Province Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

(Minghui.org) It was reported that five Falun Dafa practitioners from the Juchenghe Residential Community, Gaomi City, Shandong Province, were recently sentenced to prison and fined after having been held in custody for over a year.

Ms. Jiang Haiying was given a four-year prison term, and fined 10,000 yuan. She was taken to Jinan Women's Prison.

Mr. Rong Chuncheng was given a four-year prison term, and fined 10,000 yuan.

Mr. Gao Lianhong was given a three-year prison term, and fined 10,000 yuan. His wife Ms. Chou Yuxiang was given a three-year prison term with four years of probation, and fined 10,000 yuan.

Ms. Dai Chuanhua was given a three-year prison term with three years of probation, and fined 10,000 yuan.

Mr. Rong and Mr. Gao were most likely taken to Jinan Prison.

Mr. Rong and Ms. Jiang were arrested by officers from the Lijiaying Police Station for talking to people about Falun Dafa on April 12, 2018. The officers ransacked their homes the following day and confiscated Falun Gong books and other items. They were taken to the brainwashing center in the Gaomi Armed Department.

Mr. Rong was arrested again by officers on the morning of May 14, 2018 after being released from the brainwashing center. He was taken to the Gaomi Detention Center.

Mr. Gao, his wife Ms. Chou, and Ms. Dai were arrested at 6 a.m. on May 3, 2018.
