(Minghui.org) I am a Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) practitioner from a rural area in Eastern Sichuan Province. I am a senior and have practiced Falun Dafa for more than 19 years. The tide of suing former Chinese President Jiang Zemin started in May 2015. I also filed a letter of criminal complaint against Jiang regarding the persecution of Falun Gong with my true name and address in August 2015. Soon enough, I received a receipt from both the Supreme Court and the Supreme Procuratorate.
One day, an officer from our local government asked me to go to the government office, so I went with him. When I arrived, two policemen in the office appeared to be furious. I was caught a bit off guard, but managed to calm down and asked Master to help me eliminate the evil spirits and dark minions behind them.
The officers invited me to sit down and one officer asked me with a tone that was a bit harsh, “Did you send a letter to sue Jiang Zemin to the Supreme Court and Supreme Procuratorate?!” I didn't answer him, but rather I recalled what Master said:
“No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil’s demands, orders, or what it instigates.” (“Dafa Disciples’ Righteous Thoughts are Powerful” in Essentials for Further Advancement II)
“If thoughts are righteous,evil will collapse” (“What’s to Fear?” in Hong Yin Vol. II)
“Indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos’s Truth forms benevolent Dafa disciples’ rock-solid, Diamond-Like Bodies, it frightens all evil, and the light of Truth it emanates makes the unrighteous elements in all beings’ thoughts disintegrate. However strong the righteous thoughts are, that’s how great the power is.” (“Also in a Few Words”, Essentials for Further Advancement II)
Seeing that I didn't say anything, the other person said to me: “We are carrying out an order from our boss; this is what we were told to do.”
At that time, I thought the aggressiveness of the evil had already been dismantled. Then Master's words echoed in my mind:
“Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth, ushering in springRighteous thoughts can save the people in this world” (“The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos” Hong Yin Vol. II)
I thought that these pitiful beings were also being persecuted; therefore, Master arranged for them to come to me to learn the truth and be saved. I shifted my body slightly, then firmly said, “Falun Dafa is a high level and virtuous Fa from the Buddha school. It has the amazing effect of healing illness and keeping practitioners fit.”
I continued, “I used to have liver cirrhosis. I couldn't keep up with work and had to quit my job when I was only 50 years old. After I retired, I went to many places to look for doctors and specialists to heal my illness. I also tried other qigong practices. However, my illness didn't get better, but instead got worse. I had pain in the area of my liver, and I lost my appetite, so my weight went right down to just over 100 lbs. As a result, I could hardly walk and thought about ending my life.
“Right at that time, one day in March 1999, practitioners from another area came to our town to tell us about Falun Gong. When I heard the exercise music they were playing, it was so delightful. Then they introduced me to Falun Gong and its health benefits. I remembered how I was sick as a child, and how, even as a toddler I couldn't walk. When I was growing up, in my dreams, I often had Buddhas and Daos asking me to go to the monastery to cultivate the Dao. Now my dreams finally came true! I was very happy to learn the exercises with the other seniors. After I went home, I began to study Zhuan Falun. Upon opening the book, I saw Master's portrait. He was so benevolent and peaceful. Then a golden light appeared in front of my eyes. Right at that moment, my eyes became teary, and suddenly I recalled that this was exactly the Master who had asked me to go to the monastery to practice the Dao.”
I continued, “I spent the whole night reading all of Zhuan Falun. From then on, I began to go with a few other seniors to do the exercises every morning. Within a few days, my body had gone through a great transformation. I no longer felt the pain in the area of my liver, and my appetite came back. I stopped taking any medications from then on, nor did I receive any injections. My health was back on track. Consequently, my weight went back up to 150 lbs. Back then, when Qiao Shi from the central government was doing an investigation into Falun Gong, the conclusion he came to was that Falun Gong only brings people benefit.”
I gave them another example: “My colleague, who was also a school teacher, spent 130,000 yuan annually to address her health problems. Her children had to take turns taking care of her, even during the time when she was hospitalized. Think about it, if more people were to practice Falun Gong, how much medical expense would it save our country? Wouldn't that be great? Even so, such a wonderful practice has been persecuted under Jiang's regime. Jiang has used the propaganda machine of the whole country to defame Falun Gong, inciting hatred towards Falun Gong and the Chinese people. It has poisoned Chinese people and the people of the world!”
I then told them, “My letter of criminal complaint was to demand that the government follow the Constitution and bring Jiang to justice, to reinstate the reputation of Dafa as well as my Master, and to give us back the freedom to practice.”
The police officers listened attentively the whole time. They told me they hadn't known that Falun Gong was so good, and they now understood that practitioners are good people. I told them that good and evil will be repaid in kind and that treating practitioners kindly would lead them to receive good fortune. In the end, they wrapped up our conversation by saying that that they would not come to look for me again.
