Spring Breakers in China See Falun Gong Pendants and Information
(Minghui.org) Spring has arrived in China, and many people are taking a break. Another practitioner and I went to a park with “Falun Dafa is good” stickers and pendants in our bags.
On the way to the park in the center of the city, we put up stickers. We then looked for places with more foot traffic where we could hang the pendants, so more people could see the message “Falun Dafa is good.”
The pendant is made of a double-side-printed mini-CD disk with a happy baby on the front. On the back is a message about Falun Dafa and facts about the persecution. A golden yellow tassel hangs from the bottom.
There is a lake in the middle of the park where people can rent boats. We walked on the path around the lake. There are two rows of peach trees alongside the path. The trees are in bloom with beautiful pink flowers. Many people were taking photos under the trees.
I hung a pendant on a low branch and walked a few steps away. I turned around and saw that a young mother had noticed the pendant. She held it in one hand, examined both sides, and took a photo with her cellphone. As she gently released it, the branch with the pendant swung back to its original place.
People stood under the pendant, taking photos of the peach flowers and the pendant. The pendant was easily reachable, but no one removed it. They read the message without surprise or alarm.
We waited nearby for about 40 minutes and saw many people taking photos with the pendant and the sticker in the background.
After I returned home, I checked the photos in my camera and noticed that the images taken when people took photos of the pendants had names that included the number 513, while the images taken before or after didn’t.
It reminded me that May 13th – World Falun Dafa Day – is approaching. It is a momentous celebration for which sentient beings should be grateful.
I hope that the truth of Falun Dafa, seen among colorful flowers and pleasant spring breezes, brings good fortune to all sentient beings.
