(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Fenghua and Three Practitioners Detained
7. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Ms. Jia Shujuan Still Detained
8. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Dai Qingping Detained for 15 Days
1. [Huanren County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuying Sentenced to Four Years
Ms. Zhang Xiuying was arrested and taken to Benxi City Detention Center in 2016 by officers from the Huanren County Domestic Security Division. She was then taken to Benxi City Hospital for a physical exam, which indicated that she had severe heart disease. The police then extorted 5,000 yuan from her son and released her.
Ms. Zhang was harassed at her home in 2018 by officers from the Domestic Security Division; one of them was named Wang Chenggang. The officers said they were “holding a trial.”
On October 21, 2019, Ms. Zhang was intercepted downstairs of her home by Wang Chenggang and Zhu Fuchen, who was a judge. They demanded that she go to have a physical exam at a hospital. She refused.
In mid-November 2019, downstairs of her home, Ms. Zhang was given a verdict by Wang Chenggang and Zhu Fuchen. She was sentenced to four years in prison. Ms. Zhang was arrested and taken to Benxi City Detention Center on the morning of November 21.

2. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Yu Suping, Ms. Geng Xianglan, and Family Members Detained
Ms. Yu Suping, Ms. Geng Xianglan, and their family members have been detained in Taiyuan City and subjected to brainwashing since about November 15, 2019.
3. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Mingrui Detained
Ms. Gao Mingrui, 56, who lives on Qingyang Street, was arrested at Liaoyang Railroad Station by officers from the Liaoyang City Domestic Security Division, 610 Office, and Qingyang Police Station on September 28, 2019. The officers took her to the police station and ransacked and confiscated items from her home. She was taken to Liaoyang City Detention Center in the afternoon, and has since been detained there.
4. [Huaibin County, Henan Province] Mr. Sun Xinglu Detained Again
Mr. Sun Xinglu of Gudui Township was detained for five days in August 2019. He was again taken to a detention center on November 23, 2019.
5. [Wucheng County, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Jianzhi Detained
Ms. Liu Jianzhi of Zhaozhuang Village was arrested on November 9, 2019, after she was reported for handing out calendars with Falun Gong information. She was taken to Dezhou Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

6. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Fenghua and Three Other Practitioners Detained
Ms. Zhang Fenghua, Ms. Bai Mei, and two other practitioners from Chongli District were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division on November 24, 2019. Zheng Jianguo was one of the officers. The practitioners' homes were ransacked. They are detained at Zhangjiakou City Detention Center.
7. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Ms. Jia Shujuan Still Detained
Ms. Jia Shujuan and Mr. Zhang Yingdon, a couple from Guocheng Town, Huining County, were arrested by the town police on November 1, 2019 after someone reported them for using paper money with Falun Gong information written on it. The officers ransacked their home and confiscated items, including computers and Falun Gong books. Ms. Jia is detained at Baiyin City Detention Center. Her husband was released on bail after 15 days of detention at Huining County Detention Center.
8. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Dai Qingping Detained for 15 Days
Ms. Dai Qingping was arrested by officers Ren Gang and Liu Guohua from Pozijie Police Station on the afternoon of November 2, 2019 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained for 15 days and released on November 17.
