(Minghui.org) Ms. Wang Hong, 50, from Yuxia Town, Hu County, Shaanxi Province, was given a three-and-a-half-year prison sentence on July 5, 2016 for her belief in Falun Dafa and its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Ms. Wang is locked up in the Shaanxi Province Women's Prison where she is being tortured on a “death bed.” All four of her limbs are tied in a spread-eagle position on a rack of metal bars. She has also been viciously beaten for over a month. She is not allowed to move at all, even to use the restroom.
When Ms. Wang was arrested, police took her in handcuffs to her home, ransacked the residence, and confiscated three large boxes of personal items. They then covered her head with a black hood and transported her to the Zhuanyaowan Detention Center in Yan'an City. She was later transported to the Yan'an City Detention Center before finally being moved to the Shaanxi Province Women's Prison.
Ms. Wang, along with nine other practitioners from the Yan'an area were all arrested at nearly the same time in January 2016. They were collectively tried by the Baota District Court on the morning of July 5, 2016. Ms. Liu Guiqing, Ms. Yin Yuzhen, Ms. Ji Yanfang, and a practitioner with the last name Wu were all sentenced to three years, at the Shaanxi Province Women's Prison.

The death bed is a torture device that has been used on death-row inmates. Nowadays it is rarely used, and when it is, usually only one arm is tied.
