(Minghui.org) Ms. Zuo Yingfen, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Guiyang City in Guizhou Province, was taken to the Lannigou Brainwashing Center (also called the Guiyang City Legal Center) by Shi Shulian, director of the Xingguanlu Neighborhood Committee, and officers form the Xingguanlu Police Station in June 2004. She was recently released from a forced labor camp.

Monitored and Fed Unknown Drugs

Ms. Zuo was supervised by two collaborators around the clock. She was forced to read books and videos that slandered the founder of Falun Dafa, and to sit still without speaking for long periods of time. The guards beat her if she refused to “cooperate.”

The guards told her husband that she would only be released if she “transformed” or paid 10,000 yuan.

To try to make her give up practicing Falun Dafa, guard Lu Jun instigated other guards to put drugs in her meals.

After Ms. Zuo felt dizzy after every meal, she realized there was something wrong with her food and asked to talk with Lu Jun. She confronted him about her food being drugged, but Lu denied it. She then asked him to taste the food, but he refused. Lu eventually told Ms. Zuo's husband that he had put cold medicine in her meals.

After she was released, Ms. Zuo was bedridden for three months with pain and swelling in her thighs.

In order to force Falun Dafa practitioners to give up their belief, the Chinese Communist Party set up numerous brainwashing centers in China, using inhumane and cruel methods to persecute them.
