(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 7 were illegally arrested.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qin Aimin Sentenced to a Four-Year Prison Term

Ms. Qin Aimin was sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Daoli District Court on August 15, 2018.

2. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Liqin Detained

Ms. Wang Liqin was arrested by officers from the Fusong Town Police Station and Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of August 7, 2018, while she was talking to people about Falun Gong. The officers confiscated two MP3 players, two small speakers, an e-book, and all of her Falun Dafa books.

Ms. Wang was taken to the Baishan City Detention Center for six days of detention.

3. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Xiuying Detained

Ms. Yu Xiuying was arrested by officers from the Gongyuan Police Station on the afternoon of August 13, 2018, while she was posting Falun Gong materials.

Ms. Yu is being held at the Longjing Detention Center, in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture.

4. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Xiuyun Arrested

Ms. Dong Xiuyun was arrested by the police on the morning of August 17, 2018, while she was talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Wang Cuilan was tried for the third time in the Economic and Technological Development Zone Court, Binhai New Area, on the morning of August 8, 2018.

6. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Xiuyao Detained

Ms. Shi Xiuyao, from Shijia Village, Zhuqiao Town, Laizhou City, was arrested by officers from the Pinglidian Town Police Station on the afternoon of August 17, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Pinglidian City.

7. [Taigu County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Chen Quanying Officially Arrested

Ms. Chen Quanying was arrested by officers from the Shuixiu Township Police Station on July 19, 2018. Her home was ransacked. She was officially arrested and taken to the Jinzhong City Detention Center.

8. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Niu Demin Detained

Mr. Niu Demin was arrested in late June 2018, and is being held in the Anyang City Detention Center.

9. [Huichang County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Zhang Jinhuai Sentenced to a Four-Year Prison Term

Mr. Zhang Jinhuai, from Jiaoling County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, was sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Huichang County Court in Jiangxi Province on April 19, 2018.

Mr. Zhang was taken to the Yuzhang Prison in Jiangxi on June 6.

10. [Chongqing] Ms. Tang Suzhen Detained

Ms. Tang Suzhen from the Jiangbei District was arrested on the afternoon of August 14, 2018. She is being held in the Chongqing No. 1 Detention Center.
