(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from Croatia, Hungary, and Sweden held information day activities on May 1, 2018, in Trakošćan, a famous tourist area in northeastern Croatia on the border of Slovenia.

May 1 is celebrated as Labor Day in the area, and visitors from Croatia and Slovenia come out to celebrate the holiday among vendors selling local produce, food, and beverages. The practitioners saw this as an excellent opportunity to present Falun Dafa to visitors and talk to people about the persecution of the practice in China.

The practitioners distributed informational materials over the course of the day, and many visitors were introduced to Falun Dafa and learned about the persecution of the practice in China.

People were drawn to the Falun Dafa activity where practitioners did the exercises. Next to large displays with information about the benefits of the practice and the persecution.

Passersby were very interested in taking informational materials and asked questions about the practice and the persecution. Slovenian tourists asked for information about exercise sites in Slovenia, and local visitors obtained contact information for exercise sites in Croatia.

Large posters describing the persecution and the Chinese regime's forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience caught the visitors' attention. Most were shocked and could not believe that forced organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners was state-sanctioned and carried out in state and military hospitals in China.

An older man spoke with practitioners about his experiences traveling across Eastern European countries while they were still under communist rule. He said he had heard about illegal organ harvesting from prisoners and that the organs were purportedly used in transplants for high-ranking party officials in those countries. He was shocked to find out that this practice is state-sanctioned in China and that organs are sold for profit even online.

Practitioners talked to many people about Falun Dafa.

A young couple asked for information about the persecution. The wife said how shocked she was, but the husband expressed the view that buying and selling organs might not be so bad if someone’s life is saved. A practitioner pointed out that, by buying organs, buyers are actually ordering the deaths of innocent prisoners of conscience, murdered simply because they refuse to renounce their faith. The husband then understood and agreed that such a practice was truly wrong.

Visitors who had doubts and more questions about the organ harvesting reports were further convinced after learning about the European Parliament resolution that condemns organ harvesting in China. Most then asked for more detailed information and many signed a petition protesting the organ harvesting crimes.

These examples show that practitioners do need to make an effort to help people understand the truth about the persecution in China, because there are people who find it hard to believe at first and who associate it with the other criminal activities involving human organs. After practitioners patiently explained that this was a massive, state-sanctioned practice of organ harvesting involving state and military hospitals in China, many people then signed the petition with no hesitation.
