(Minghui.org) Twenty-six years ago, in a small park in Changchun, Jilin Province, Master Li Hongzhi introduced the ancient mind and body practice of Falun Dafa to the public.
Twenty-six years later, Falun Dafa has spread to over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Its practitioners come from all walks of life, and they all strive to apply the principles of Falun Dafa, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, to their daily lives and bring positive changes to both themselves and the world.
As May 13, the anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction, draws near, greetings to celebrate this grand occasion have been pouring into the Minghui website by Falun Dafa practitioners from China.
These practitioners expressed warm wishes to Master Li and thanked him for teaching the practice. They also wished Master a Happy Birthday, which is also on May 13. Many of them recounted in their greetings how Master Li returned them to health and gave them a new outlook on life.
“Thank you Master for teaching Falun Dafa to us! The principles helped me to improve my mind, to take personal gains and fame lightly, and go above and beyond the mundane world. I have gained inner peace and compassion through daily practice,” one practitioner said in his greeting.
“Although I didn't attend Master's lectures in China, I can feel Master is taking care of me all the time after I started the practice. Falun Dafa helped me to understand the real meaning of life. My mind was freed, and I gained more wisdom, despite the persecution that has been going on for 19 years. The more I cultivate, the more profound I feel the principles of Falun Dafa are and the more I cultivate, the more compassion I feel from Master. With Master's taking care of me, I am the happiest and luckiest life in the universe,” another practitioner expressed in the greeting.
