According to this report, 18 Falun Gong practitioners were illegally arrested and detained or imprisoned, at least 7 were tried in court, and one practitioner's whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Qin Yuexiu was tried in the Putuo District Court on March 23, 2018.

2. [Shanghai] Mr Liu Shunming's Case submitted to Procuratorate

Mr. Liu Shunming from Maqiao Town, Minhang District was arrested on October 12, 2017. He was taken to the Minhang District Detention Center. His case was turned over to the Procuratorate on March 9, 2018.

3. [Shanghai] Five Practitioners Detained

Ms. Wu Mei from Jing'an District was arrested at home by officers from the Pengpu Town Police Station, the Sanquanlu Police Station, and the Jing'an Domestic Security Division on March 5, 2018.

Ms. Jiang Peizhu, Ms. Tang, Ms. Li Hengzhen, and Ms. Shi Huiyuan were arrested at the same time. They were taken to the Jing'an District Detention Center.

Ms. Li Jing, 63, was arrested by officers from the Jingweilu Police Station, Erdaogou District, on March 17, 2018. The officers confiscated five printers, one notebook computer, several cell phones, Falun Gong books, and informational materials. Ms. Li was taken to the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.

Ms. Chen Xingfeng was tried at the Yantian District Court on the afternoon of March 22, 2018. She was arrested at home on June 1, 2017.

8. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yu Mei and Ms. Su Guiying Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yu Mei and Ms. Su Guiying were sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Chikan District Court. Both appealed, and their cases were turned over to the Zhanjiang City Intermediate Court.

Ms. Qiao Guiping from the No. 2 Village, Dazhaizhuang area, Fengnan Town, Fengnan District, was arrested and her home ransacked by plainclothes officers from the Huanggezhuang Town Police Station on the morning of March 18, 2018 for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was detained for 15 days.

10. [Longhua County, Hebei Province] Ms. Qin Yuxia Arrested

Ms. Qin Yuxia was arrested by officers from the Badaying Township Police Station on the morning of March 17, 2018. She was taken to the county detention center for 12 days of detention. She was released the following morning after failing the physical examination.

11. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Su Ruiqin Arrested

Ms. Su Ruiqin was arrested by officers from the Donghuanlu Police Station on March 16, 2018.

Ms. Wang Yurong and Ms. Chen Yanqiu were arrested by officers from the Haibinlu Police Station on the morning of March 15, 2018. Both practitioners are held in the Qinhuangdao Detention Center.

Ms. Zhou Zhaoxia from the Zhongnan Investigation and Design Institute, Wuchang District, was arrested and her home ransacked by officers from the Shuiguohu Police Station on the evening of March 12, 2018 for distributing Falun Gong materials. Her whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Cheng Xiaobao Arrested

Ms. Cheng Xiaobao was arrested on March 18, 2018.

15. [Yuanling County, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Lanzhi Taken to Prison

Ms. Chen Lanzhi was arrested and taken to the Zhongfang Prison, Huaihua City, on March 16, 2018.

16. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cui Yumei and Ms. Ding Lianmei Arrested

Ms. Cui Yumei and Ms. Ding Lianmei were arrested by officers from the Xinbin Town Police Station on the afternoon of March 19, 2018 for distributing Falun Gong materials. Their homes were ransacked.

Ms. Ren Xiuyun from Xiangfang District took a train on March 1, 2018 to visit her elder brother, who was ill. She was arrested at the East Harbin Train Station. She was interrogated at the Xiangfang Avenue Police Station. Her home was ransacked. She was placed under criminal detention on March 17 after 15 days of detention.
