(Minghui.org) Seventy-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhong Lifen from Changshu City in Jiangsu Province was sentenced to ten years imprisonment in 2006. She was held in Ward 3 of Nantong Women's Prison, where she was given psychiatric drugs.

When she returned home a few days later, she was a different person. Her eyes were dull, she stood idly, and she sometimes stared at people with glazed eyes. She worked silently and at times didn't lift her head. She had a blank expression.

An inmate said later that Ms. Zhong had been drugged by the prison officials. They put unidentified psychiatric drugs into her rice.

For a period of two years, before the inmate was released from the prison, she witnessed Gong Yonghui, the inmate responsible for delivering everyone's meals, drugging Ms. Zhong's food. She said that Gong got a small bag of drugs from a prison guard and put it into Ms. Zhong’s food every day.
